We recommend starting your meal at Poole’s Da Vinci’s off by sharing some antipasti like the arancini balls, calamari fritti or the mushrooms stuffed with dolcelatte cheese, topped with breadcrumbs and drizzled with honey. Then, tuck into a hearty pasta dish of some authentic Italian pizza, or one of Da Vinci’s mains like the saltimbocca alla romana (slices of veal topped with parma ham, sage and butter). Perfect taste of Italy. With authentic atmosphere, staff were very pleasant and welcoming just like being in Italy. I will be returning very soon!! And will work my way through their mouth watering menu!
Food, service and ambience were all excellent and we got some impromptu plate banging / guitar wielding entertainment too for a reasonable cost given the quality of food and wine!
Pleasant eating-out experience. Friendly and attentive. Time was about 3 hours for starters, mains and puds & coffee. The pace of service felt about right. Food quality good and portions sizes were adequate. We are occasional users of this restaurant and will certainly be going again soon
