food and drinks were excellent. You could tell the food was all made using fresh produce. Great flavours! The owner (who was serving us) was friendly and gave great suggestions and recommendations of what to order.

Ordered marinated pork loin slices but was served grill pork SLICE. Also ordered fish stew but served king prawn. Don't get what you asked for. Strange

Simpatia e qualidade das entradas e refeições, a picanha é muito deliciosa. As sobremesas são uma delicia. Não esquecer para acompanhar uma boa sagres. Recomendo bastante.

Don’t be put off by the exterior, inside it’s just as basic but has a warm South American feel that makes it easy to relax and enjoy the food, there was a TV showing a Brazilian cabaret show and somehow the music and Portuguese chatter transported you to a place far more exotic the Southwark. It’s licensed and a large glass of red wine is a LARGE glass of red wine, I had a Bohemia beer which was also good. The food is real food, no messing and if you like table cloths and ornate presentation then this is not a place for you, but if you like a mixed grill with a tasty piece of Uruguayan steak, sausage, chicken, rice , chips and salad then this could be for you. We also had some interesting Brazilian starters and the Orange cake (which was fabulous with ice cream) to finish. Prices are good but the night we went it was the food and atmosphere that will will bring us back. A great place for dinner before a show at the Southwark Playhouse.

Burgers were good; didn't realise it was BYOB; waiter was polite; menus were sticky; waited a long time for food.

Tasty burger, dissappointed with the steamed vegetables and very very quiet lack of attention from waiter and long delay in meals despite restaurant being empty and did provide chips which were nice instead of vegetables so overall ok

The food was okay but more on the home cooked side rather than a professional restaurant. In addition the restaurant lacked a lot of atmosphere and although we were the only table in the restaurant it took a very long time for us to get served. Overall I would say that the management of Hungry Bears have a lot of work to do before this place can attract any serious business.

Nice furniture. Handyman Burger was ok. Lamb cut was tough and had a slight odd chemically taste. (maybe from a soapy knife cutting the meat). Used my Gourmet Society card to get 50% off as stated on the website. Only gave me 25%, when I questioned the discount, he said it was cheap enough already. Instead of making a scene ( even though we were the only customers there from 6pm-7pm ), we decided better of it. Will not return to this restaurant and some advice when using the Gourmet card, state the 50% discount first before ordering your food.
