Eastern Eye in Plymouth has been a local Barbican favourite for over 20 years. That’s thanks to it consistently serving some of the best Indian food in the area. There’s a focus on Bangladeshi dishes, but the menu is extensive, featuring all the curries you know and love as well as Bengali and tandoori dishes. The menu really is enormous which means there’s surely something for everyone! The restaurant has a great ambience, with neon lights of many different colours providing the lighting. Service is attentive and the atmosphere is always great, so it’s easy to see why the Eastern Eye on Plymouth’s Notte Street is a local favourite.
