As the longest-standing independent restaurant in Camberley, there’s something truly special about El Pic Tapas Bar. Showcasing the best of Spanish tapas, this town centre spot has been serving the lucky local foodies since 1991. Eclectic and vibrant, El Pic Tapas Bar’s menu is packed with delicious small plates to share, using only the best of the best in terms of ingredients and produce – in true Spanish style, of course. Not only that, but the wine and cocktail lists are as enticing as anything from the food menu, making this London Road haunt the obvious choice for an evening of delicious food, drinks and company. Book your table now!
In true Spanish style, the name of the game at El Pic Tapas Bar is sharing loads of small plates and jugs of sangria with your nearest and dearest. Our advice? Roll with it and order up a bunch of plates and prepare yourself for a truly delicious time. Kick things off with some jamon serrano (air-cured ham), a bowl of olives and boquerones to whet your appetite nicely. Then, for meat lovers, we recommend the albóndigas meatballs smothered in a rich tomato sauce, pinchito moruno (tender skewered lamb) and pollo a la crema chicken, bubbling in a cream, garlic and tarragon sauce.
If you’re a seafood fan, well, you and El Pic Tapas Bar are a match made in heaven. This Camberley space cooks up an incredible array of fish tapas including gambas en guindilla made with deep-fried jalapeno peppers stuffed with king prawns and served with paprika sour cream, as well as lightly-fried calamari and a traditional tapas-style seafood paella. If you’ve got a hankering for veggie dishes, be sure to sample the classic Spanish tortilla made with potato, egg and onion, patatas bravas topped with tomato and chilli and the sliced aubergines drizzled with honey. Washed down with a jug of sangria, refreshing mojito or zesty margarita, you’ve got yourself a night to remember at El Pic Tapas Bar. You’ll find this Camberley restaurant in the town centre on London Road – be sure to keep an eye out for the desserts, too. You’ll thank us!
An amazing small tapas bar, but lovely and filling food! Big portions and i recommend doing the £15 tuesday and wednesday deal because it is great value and superb
Little gem of a place, friendly service, great food - our favourite Tapas bar. Would love it to open a little earlier to accommodate younger children service.
First visit & very impressed, great food & not just the usual tapas choices. Very compact surroundings which added to the dismiss bar feel. Will be returning!
Great food, great vibe and brilliant service. Always consistently good here with a warm welcome. Highly recommend any day of the week.. .. . .
Heard many good things about the El Pic Tapas Bar and on my first visit with my wife we enjoyed the food along with the décor. It reminded us of Denia in Spain.
I had a lovely evening yesterday. The staff were polite and friendly. You need to book as it is popular and very busy. You feel like you are in Spain rather than Camberley with the decor and ambiance of the place. The food was delish. I would defo eat there again.
My first time visiting El Pic on Saturday 25th November. Excellent evening meal, it felt like we were actually in Spain. The atmosphere was great, the food was deliciously authentic and the staff worked so hard all night. Thank you El Pic, cant wait to come back!
We really enjoyed our visit to El Pic, the waitress was friendly and helpful, lots of different and interesting dishes to choose from and a lovely selection of wines. The food was very tasty, lots of yummy flavours and well presented. We will definitely go again.
Food was scrumptious! Ordered 4 dishes each which was more than enough for the 2 of us. Atmosphere was relaxed and the staff all very helpful and attentive. Lovely evening, look forward to coming be back soon.
Never beaten...The best food in the world and the greatest restaurant ever... 20 yrs of visiting and not one complaint from me. Your taste buds will never be treated any better...:)
