Food great, service (especially Megan) great, everything was great but the wait times for drinks was abysmal and unfortunately the restaurant probably loses out on money because of this. However, a lovely night out.

Called ahead to say we would be 10mins late which was fine as guests were still on our allocated table. On arrival (8pm) we waiting in the doorway for some acknowledgment from the staff, all staff walked passed us. We then decided to go to the bar and the lady said that our table was still occupied but she could put us on another table which was fine. We were brought water but not asked if we wanted any other drinks. We asked the waitress for something to put under the table as it was wobbly and she said she would be back. 10mins later as she hadn't reappeared we decided to make our own wedge out of our napkins so that the table wouldn't wobble. 10mins after that so now 8.20 the waitress comes over not to ask if we would like drinks or to order food but to tell us to move to the bar as the table we were on was booked for another guest. My reply was that our reservation was for 7.45 so we should be served first. We waited and waited and waited. It was now 8.40 and still noone had served us. The place wasnt that busy by now, a few tables eating and some wanting to pay. I was looking around for someone but one waitress was polishing glasses and one was on her phone so we just got up and left. Appalling service. We were totally ignored for the 40minutes we were there. Might I add that this was our anniversary and it was totally ruined by the absent service. Really bad. I would like the contact details of the owner as he/she needs to know how badly the service is letting them down. Really wanted to try this place but sadly, we wont be back.

Excellent service from smiling, friendly staff! Food was superb and they really made an effort to accommodate dietary requirements. (Coeliac, so needs Gluten Free with very little risk of cross-contamination). Will be going back’

We love coming to El Pic but o our last visit Saturday we noticed considerable small potion sizes and the price increase

4 out of 7 dishes were lovely the other 3 were disappointing. We were sat next to the door which was cold as people kept going out for cigarette breaks. Our meal was rushed and when we asked for after dinner drinks we were told people were waiting for our table so we'd have to have the drinks at the bar. We decided to pay and leave.

Fantastic little place the most amazing staff and they are an absolute credit to there employers. The food was amazing so again credit to the chef!! I love this place and would highly recommend it to anybody.

Great food great service, the staff were lovely and very polite and helpful. The only thing is people stand in the doorway smoking and when you are sat in the tables for two by the entrance its disgusting especially the view of one women big fat bum and a fag while I am eating pressed against the window.. that needs to change they can smoke up the road its rude and an awful view very close to me when I was eating, apart from that I love the restaurant and staff.

Excellent simple tapas - just as it should be. Some interesting new dishes we hadn't seen in other tapas bars. Excellent value too with most dishes being under £6. We will definitely return!
