Eton Place is already an established name on Merseyside, and they’ve become synonymous with great Turkish cuisine in the area. Their outlet in Childwall is a well known local favourite and their sister restaurant, Armadillo, is similarly successful out in Birkenhead on the Wirral: so when we say that they’ve opened another restaurant in Waterloo, you know that it’s certainly something to get excited about. Eton Place have built their reputation on superb Turkish cooking, with a menu that offers hot and cold mezze – grilled halloumi, spicy sucuk sausage, calamari from the former, ezme salata, hummus and borek from the latter – and a huge range of grilled favourites. Lamb shish, chicken kebab and sirloin steaks come fresh from the charcoal, and can be allied to seafood and vegetarian dishes such as karniyarik, aubergine with onions and herbs. Book a table and head to South Road, the main dining drag in Waterloo, for a superb Turkish restaurant in Liverpool at Eton Place.
Fast service, good value for an early bird offer, friendly staff and delicious Turkish food. Never tried Turish food before, I had like a deconstructed chicken kebab it was amazing, deffo being going back soon
Friendly service and food came very quickly. Nicely presented as well as tasting delicious. The calamari melted - just as it should; so often it's chewy and not enjoyable at all. The meat was succulent and the fish very fresh. We were too full for dessert but managed a few amarettos to finish :-)
A very pleasant resteraunt. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely and friendly. And nothing was too much trouble for them. Came home with a rose made out of serviettes made by one of the waiters.
