India and China are countries with cultures that revolve around food, and at Everest Abercorn in Stanmore Hill – on the road between Watford and London in the Middlesex suburb of Stanmore – you can taste the both of them. Indian and Chinese cuisines sit side-by-side on the menu and there are fusion options as well, just as one would find on the streets of northern India and Nepal, as well as in Chinese restaurants up and down the subcontinent.
The menu at Everest Abercorn is a fusion of Chinese and Indian food, in both starters and mains. To begin with, there are samosas and wontons, paneer tikka and sesame vegetables, and to follow one can pick from such favourites as butter chicken and lamb bhuna, Singapore noodles and chicken Manchurian. Throw in a selection of sides and sundries and there is a fantastic meal in the offing, so head down to Stanmore Hill in the North London suburb of Stanmore – just remember to book a table first.
Food was ok. Expensive for what it is. Baby changing was awful I had to complain. Wouldn't go back in a hurry. Very busy restaurant.
Really poor service Tables crammed together and food was average at best .Felt poor value for money. The washrooms always an indicator how well the place is run,was nicely decorated but poorly maintained
Poor Service. Had to wait a long time to get served. When asked for more drinks or more sauces, had to wait another 20 minutes till we got served again.
really good food, highly recommend to try if not already tried
Good quality food however very poor service. Very short staffed for a Sat night that caused delay in waiter service in taking and delivering orders.
Very limited vegetarian menu...no okra, no aubergine😢😢😢😢 veg manchrian...very dry and hard... although place closes at 11pm...told us to leave at around 10... will never go there again...oh yes...ladies toilet has no shelf to put handbags to wash my hands...
The service was appalling, I didn't enjoy my birthday dinner with my family. They had 5 young waiters for the whole restaurant on a busy Saturday. I will not be returning again. The food wasn't anything special.
Waste of time over priced food and no customer services sitting sofas not comfortable. I will not be going back there again don't bother going there they are better places out there.
