Fancy Crab

Food was so good! Ordered the crab cake, soft tacos, Merus and chicken which were all really good! Staff were friendly and service was quick!

Great dining experience. It’s a bit expensive but totally worth it! The crablicious cocktail is recommended, just like the Singapore Spicy Crab. The service is also awesome

The service was excellent. The crabs we ordeted were tasty, but chips came with the crabs were not nice at all. Some chips in a plate were too hard to eat. The table near ours had chips ad well which looked much nicer, but we were unfortunately not served good tasty chips.

Really great staff and food! We had the king crab and the steamed buns. We are from belgium and will be advising this to our friends!

Great service, atmosphere and food was also really good - we sampled quite a few dishes and all were really well flavoured and the crab was very tasty. Would definitely recommend it.

Lovely food with a wide variety of crustaceans. Great beer, great atmosphere a and very attentive service. Can't fault it or the staff in anyway. Would definitely visit again.

Good food and attentive, friendly service. We like the traditional, comfortable dining booths for four people. All in all a good destination if you want good seafood in a relaxed setting.

The food was excellent the staff was excellent, dhe General Manager was unbelievable very professional and welcoming, first time there and will have a happy costumer for a long time. Very well done.

This was my first visit to Fancy Crab and I will certainly return. The food, service and atmosphere were all good. Also interesting wine list.

Good food but definitely overpriced! The bread plate is a complete joke and needs to be changed quickly as I have seen so many complaints about it. 3 little pieces is not acceptable for 4 pounds! Nearly 90 pounds for 2 with no alcohol....

Service was fantastic, everything came out looking great (noticed everything that left the kitchen was checked which was re-assuring) and then tasted excellent. Overall a great evening, thanks.

Service was chaotic - plates arrived in the wrong order despite this being patiently explained to them how we wanted them delivered to the table. So the table got extremely full. The glasses of champagne which were ordered were in fact cremant which were sent back and supposedly replaced by champagne - still cremant! Charged for cremant on the bill. One of our guests wanted "a few" cockles to go with the octopus - given a whole starter of cockles. One other guest who had ordered the cockles was only served when everyone else had finished. The wine (£73 per bottle) description on the wine list didn't match that on the label, but the wine waiter was adamant it was the same one. One main course had so little king crab it was a joke and was replaced following a complaint. The kitchen staff preparing the food, were seen eating the crab as they prepared it - bare hands, no gloves. Bit worrying! All in all a very disappointing experience considering the price point and the location.

Excellent restaurant, the quality of the food amazing, if you like crab this is the place for you, staff really friendly and give you good recommendation if it is your first time. I totally recommend this restaurant.

Fabulous! The starters were delicious and the main course was impressive! Also, great selection of wines! All of this was served superbly by kind and welcoming staff. Highly recommended!

Interesting menu. Only a few tables when we arrived for a late lunch. Food was well presented and tasty. Service initially was good, but towards the end when staff finished shifts we were left unattended for periods with empty plates. They sat a table of 10 right behind us, so close we struggled to get out of our seats when there were lots of other empty tables where they could have sat them. Overall it was OK, but had potential to be so much more.

Very fresh and tasty!! Love that we now have a trusted crab restaurant in London! Great atmosphere and good service too. Hope it stays this way :)

Expensive. Very average food. Service was good however but overall not worth it. Will not go back. £70 pp is just too expensive for this level of quality food

Whole Red Crab was wonderfully fresh. 6 of us still struggled to finish the whole crab. Not a meal for 2! Really liked the Soft shell Crab Bao. Left the restaurant in a crab coma ! Lovely, will be back.

Absolutely incredible crab beautiful side dishes, lovely staff and nice decor. The singapore chilli crab was exceptional and the octopus cerviche was one of the best things I have ever eaten!

The food was super delicious and staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. We really enjoyed our evening and definitely will come back. It is one of the best places if you love seafood.

What a fabulous experience dining at this restaurant where I took my mum for an early Mother's Day evening meal after watching a show. The staff were so friendly (and funny) upon us entering and remained respectfully jovial throughout our meal. A lovely team working together. The food was outstanding and our server recommended what he thought my mum would like and what I would like. We went with his recommendation and my crab leg and shoulder was sweet, succulent, minus any shell and had already been removed from the shell but put back in for presentation. It couldn't have been easier to eat!! Mum had the crab curry which was creamy and plentiful. I have put pics of the restaurant on Facebook and can't wait to get my other friends there to dine. 10/10 Outstanding!

We went on the 50% off special offer and I am so glad we managed to try it out. One of the best seafood meals ever! We had langustin and crab cakes as a starter, then char-grilled crab leg and shoulder as the main. Everything’s full of flavour. The service was excellent and the food was too. However if it wasn't for the half price offer, this would have been a very expensive meal.

The restaurant is a great venue, excellently located. The service was excellent as was the food - Giant Red Crab leg and shoulder. Shared the cheesecake for dessert which I would have given a miss retrospectively.

Really good experience. Great food and service. Highly recommended leg and shoulder crab. We were in a group of 5 Brazilians and even had service in Portuguese so we could feel home :)

My husband took me here for my birthday. Slightly tucked away behind oxford street with great interiors and most importantly - fresh seafood. I've been searching for a place like this and I'm so glad it's here. The crab meat is succulent and very fresh. Coming here again to try the soft shell crab bun

Fantastic service provided by the restaurant. Great and fresh seafood (crab and oysters). Food arrived fast and was delicious. The ambience is great for all occasions.
