Had the steak which is their signature dish Also had cocktails and wine - the house red is very good and the porn star martini is brilliant
It was delicious, as always. We sat at our table straight away, but had quite a long wait, for our food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming
Really good atmosphere in the whole building. Food was lovely. Service excellent
Excellent service and food, the steaks were beautifully cooked and as requested. We were there to quietly celebrate Lisa and Dean's engagement, and true to form a rendition of congratulations was sung through the restaurant, loved it, thank you.
Not as good as usual. We love coming to Flames and will continue to do so however I think due to the demand and busy nature of Fathers Day our experience wasn’t the same. We had some drinks missing from our original drinks order and when we brought it up with the waitress she wasn’t impressed with us! The waitress that served us, told us the wrong name of our dishes which caused lots of confusion and she could be quite off hand when questioned about it. She told us she’d been working for ten hours so we could understand the tiredness. Other than that our starters were good. When our mains arrived the wrap that came with the sizzler was rock hard and stale so we asked to change it again reluctantly the waitress took it back without apology. My steak was a lot smaller than normally but good all the same. 2 out of 5 lots of chips were horrendously bad, stale, hard and tasted like they’d been reheated, either that or they were the last ones in the batch. The rest were fine and tasty like they normally are! We told the waitress yet again and she simply took them away without offering to replace them, the manager took them off our bill for us thankfully very apologetically. Almost instantly after the meal I became unwell and was for the majority of the day after. I spoke to the others and 3 others had been unwell too but only once they’d got home. We’d all had either peppercorn sauce or Diane sauce so perhaps something in that?! Like I said we are regulars at flames and LOVE it, we’ll always go back but would never go in a big group or when it’s busy again.
this is the second time we have been here, the first being a couple of years ago not long after it opened I think for my daughters birthday. It was very busy but we were seated within 10 minutes. What I found strange was that there was no 'reception' area as there used to be to let them know you were here so we stood at the bar and had to wait for someone to acknowledge us - being the bar area they were very busy serving drinks. We all ordered starters and mains, the starters were a little disappointing but the steaks on hot stones that we cooked ourselves were beautiful with sauces and sides and would thoroughly recommend. Overall would recommend but a little disorganised when you first arrive.
First time visiting. We held a surprise meal for my boyfriend, the restaurant facilitated this really well. Friendly, organised staff and very clean. The food came quickly to say there was 10 of us at the table and the restaurant was buissy. And it was to die for!!! We all loved our stakes and being able to cook them our selfs on the hot rock just made the experience so much better. The cocktails are spot on and everything is reasonably priced. Good food, good vibes. We're defiantly coming back
I visited this restaurant with family for my 49th birthday after reading the good reviews on a couple of sites. The food was okay, but not outstanding for the charge priced. The salad on every starter and main was a little uninspiring & mundane. The steak was good, but my partners was overcooked. I found the venue very noisy, the background music was less background and more in your face, making it almost impossible to chat whilst eating. However I did treat myself to the house cocktail - that was delicious, unusual and delicious. The service was overall very good & friendly. Overall for the cost I have been to much better restaurants, which much pleasanter atmospheres however if you want a more 'party style' this may be the place for you!
Brilliant service even when the football was on which really did accommodate my husband need to watch this.... food was brilliant had calameri starter and specials scallops and king prawns starter with 2x hot stone steak and peppercorn sauce was absolutely amazing could not fault.... peppercorn sauce was one of the best I've had we will defiantly be back soon.... I nearly forgot the gin bar and cocktails out of this world thanks flames for an amazing evening
Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and service is top notch. I've been before with my husband and this time we took my mum, niece and nephew and they weren't disappointed. The staff went out of there way for the children. The steak on a stone is a must here. Thanks to all the staff for making it a lovely evening. See you soon
