Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. We encourage people to still support the restaurant industry in other ways.Learn how
A Zen koan: what’s the sound of a satisfied diner after having chowed down on premium chow mein or, for instance, some shaking beef? FUFU. FUFU Restaurant, that is, a prime spot in Palmers Green for all your Sinophile specialities, just up Green Lanes from Palmers Green station. FUFU Restaurant likes to think that its ethos ratifies thousands of years of Chinese culture as expressed through the maintenance of ancient culinary traditions. Thus, keeping in line with the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, winter… and spring (another koan), FUFU ploughs a furrow for the freshest seasonal food the material world can furnish their humble kitchens with. Only Irish beef is used, the squid are thicker than grade A5, and they’ve gone the Way of No MSG, too. Come join FUFU for twice-cooked fun and flavour-filled times.
Good food for in a quiet part of green lanes. Bus stop right outside the restaurant makes it easy to get to and from. Will go again
Good food and decent value at this restaurant which is way better and more authentic than the average high street Chinese in this part of north London. Choose between a la carte or all you can eat 'buffet' (but still cooked to order) for 17.99 p.p. which includes many of the same dishes (but not all - e.g. the excellent steamed sea bass with ginger & spring onion is not included in the buffet).
Great food and friendly service, what more could you want? The menu might not look particularly interesting but while it doesn't stray from the Chinese restaurant classics, they're cooked so well, you feel that you're eating entirely different dishes. Definitely worth a try.
