Galo’s Kitchen Bingley has got a lot going for it. You know a family-run Italian restaurant is good when it manages to establish itself in more than one location, which is exactly what Galo’s Kitchen has succeeded in doing. With two locations, this particular one being on Park Road in Bingley near Bedford, Galo’s chefs are vastly experienced and even more passionate about what they believe is the best cuisine in the world. As such, the Italian food here radiates quality and will have you smiling in a way that few other Italian restaurants in Bingley can replicate. Just be warned – Galo’s Kitchen is very popular, so it would be wise to reserve your table in advance.
As we already mentioned, at Bingley’s Galo’s Kitchen you will find extremely passionate chefs who have quite a few home recipes flying around, and this special touch certainly make the dishes even more delicious. But before we get to those, much like Bedford and Bingley, the Galo’s Kitchen dining space is chic and classic. It’s a small enough space but you can expect white tablecloths and napkins, an elaborately tiled floor and lots of light inside. On Park Road, this is an ideal space to enjoy proper Italian cooking with your nearest and dearest. So welcoming is the space, in fact, that you may find yourself staying for much longer than originally planned.
Galo’s Kitchen Bingley is fit for any occasion owing to an impressive a la carte menu, a set menu, a children’s menu and a wealth of wines and desserts. Begin with something from the modest selection of gourmet starters – it’s quality over quantity here – then consider pasta or risotto for mains, perhaps. The tagliatelle with fresh lamb ragu, pecorino cheese and a garlic crumb is our pick of the bunch, but all are fantastic. Of course, Galo’s Kitchen Bingley near Bedford also offers homemade pizzas and main dishes of fish or meat so you’d be wise to try the 35-day aged fillet steak with a red wine sauce and your choice of sides. Oh, and one final thing, pizzas and penne pasta or spaghetti dishes can all be requested gluten-free. Bellisimo!
Lovely night out at Gallo Kitchen in Bingley. Attentive staff but not too attentive. Lovely food - the sea bass cooked in lobster sauce was particularly good. They had run out of Franscati wine but the Gavi was a great alternative followed by a complementary limoncello on the house. We stayed from 7.150pm to be almost the last customers there. Only slight negative was we prefer subdued lighting.
We have visited Galos lots of times before and always exceptional friendly and efficient service. Food was really good and lots of choice. Nice atmosphere.
Always great friendly service and great food. Been quite a few times now and never been disappointed. Took four friends and they thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks
