The food was very nice but they had got my order wrong so it wasn’t what I ordered, they offered to rectify but this would have meant me eating after the rest of my party had finished, they also forgot my side order and the restaurant was cold. There are lots of nicer restaurants so unfortunately I won’t eat here again.

A family run local restaurant where all of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu. Each course was cooked to perfection leading to a thoroughly enjoyable and fun evening. Will definitely be back

Tried 17 during the day & while in the restaurant to phone . The manager then told me the no on the web site was not theirs !! But could not understand why it was wrong . My mash that came with my liver was flat cold . We have been to the restaurant many times over the past years and always thought it was good food / service. I believe the restaurant has been taken over by new people. There was more than usual staff on to service but as my partner said they were like rabbits in head lights . all thought we got a £20 discount it spoiled a night out for us .

The service left a lot to be desired with errors on the orders taken and a very long wait between starter and main courses, in fact we had to chase the staff to remind them how long we had been waiting. Added to that a full cup of coffee we had not even ordered was dropped on the floor right by our table. To add insult to injury this coffee appeared on our final bill. The food generally was just OK but not good enough to encourage us to re visit this restaurant

Excellent food, wine and service but very affordable as ate from the early bird menu. The only issue was being placed next to a noisy family. There were so few of us in the restaurant at that time, perhaps they could have spread us out a bit?

The staff were understanding when I rang to say we would be a little late and we were given good service on arrival. All the meals we ordered were excellent.

Excellent menu choices, we particularly enjoyed option of starter sized pastas and risottos. Friendly service, only downside was that the steaks were somewhat well done despite asking for medium rare. Will definitely return soon.

Friendly, obliging staff. Pork medallions and ravioli very good. Prices fair and reasonable.

Family and friends, all shared a typical Italian starter meat etc very nice, I had the liver mash and lovely cooked carrots very good. Service was polite and helpful from the young waiter. Smart clean decor will re visit.

Food was lovely and we didn't have to wait long between courses. Staff were really friendly. Atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. Value for money was good and we will definately return.
