Galo's Kitchen - Bingley

The food was good. However, although I do like a gap between courses, we did have to wait a little too long for the main.

Excellent. I have eaten both dinner and lunch here within the last ten days and cannot fault the food,service on ambience. Galo stands head and shoulders above the miscellany of Harrogate restaurants and I wouldnt hesitate to reccomend it.

Had the earliest bird menu as arrived before 6.30pm. Great choice of dishes on starters and main course, good flavours. Excellent value. Will be back. Hi

Great restaurant, great atmosphere, great food and service. The scallops (starter) were cooked perfectly and tasted divine. The filet was good. Would recommend and come again for sure!

We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children. Everyone enjoyed the experience - warm welcome,great food and wine; excellent friendly service. Sensibly priced. Will certainly recommend and return.

Really wanted to like it. The service was good, the starters nice, but the two mixed grill mains (one fish and one meat) were just overcooked and dry. Soggy fried courgettes completed the main. Other people’s food looked lovely, but ours was very disappointing. Puddings were ok and the wine and limoncello great, but sadly not likely to come back after the mains.

The menu was superb, full of interesting choices and the wine list was excellent and not overpriced. Each course was beautifully presented and the flavours were wonderful. The best Italian meal both of us have had for a very long time. I have eaten in over 130 Harrogate & North Yorkshire restaurants and I shall definitely be returning here many times. The staff were also very attentive and helpful. This superb restaurant should not be overlooked because the home cooked food is such a pleasure to eat.

All three of us agreed that the standard of the food was excellent. The service and drinks were also first-class. We shall visit again soon.

Our second visit there: and as nice an experience as the first. Cheerful and helpful, but unintrusive, service, and a wide choice of interesting and tasty dishes on the menu. Will no doubt be back again.

This restaurant is a little gem. Service was very good ,and food was excellent best I have had in a verylong time. Would definitely recommend.

This was our first visit. The service was efficient and friendly and the starters were particularly tasty. The main dishes were a bit more variable - the pasta dish was enjoyable but the gnocchi was a bit too doughy although the sauce was good. Will visit again.

Excellent meal. Good prompt and attentive service. Parking very close nearby. Decent value and good menu selection. Nothing negative to say. Would certainly recommend you give it a try.

What a gorgeous independent restaurant, attentive and lovely friendly staff. Food was a-mazing! Freshly prepared and cooked and so tasty. Atmosphere was brilliant and the place was full! Highly recommended! Will return.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Galo's kitchen in Harrogate. The atmosphere was personable and friendly, the staff knowledge and the food lovely. The price point is just right- think Jamie's but a proper independent Itslian restaurant with items on the menu you won't find elsewhere. Beyond basic but far from fussy. Definitely give Galo's Harrogate a go.
