Gaucho Richmond is an iconic boathouse restaurant located on the rural banks of River Thames, in the quintessential London neighbourhood of Richmond. Housing a waterside terrace and ‘Asado’ outdoor barbeques in summer, Gaucho is arguably one of London’s most sought-after alfresco dining spots. In the middle of the terrace is a truly striking centerpiece – one of London’s oldest Plane trees. Diners can spend time in Gaucho’s well-dressed dining room and bar, which features panoramic glass panels with 360-degree views of Richmond Bridge and Petersham Meadows. It really is an idyllic location for those long weekend lunches after a walk in the park, or for gathering with family and friends to celebrate special occasions. So, when you next take a stroll along The Towpath, join Gaucho for an unforgettable meal, sampling superb Argentinian beef and British seafood, or relax at the bar with a glass of wine and watch the boats sail by – you could almost be at the South American Riviera.

Lovey restaurant by the river and we sat outside in the sun. The service was great and all around nice meal out.
Surpassed expections, good food and drink and, initially service. We arrived eary and service was excellent. We were amazed at how extremely busy it got, which impacted service. The good side it has to be said is we were not rushed from our table. We will visit again!
Great service and great food! Definitely would go back again!
