Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. Gillray's take great care in the quality and taste of their wonderful Aberdeen Angus steaks. They are sourced from the finest English Farms, the cattle enjoy two seasons at grass, succeeded by weeks of heather giving the meat a superior texture and richer flavour. Gillrays' signature dish is a 2.2 pound “Bull’s Head” cut of steak cooked just how you like it. Just a quick 5 minutes from Westminster or Waterloo stations, Gillray's are the go-to location for amazing steaks and a number of sides including Triple Cooked Chips, Bubble and Squeak, Creamed Spinach and Cauliflower Cheese. Oh, and the bar is open until midnight daily.

Rather disappointed that I was charged £37.00 for a £7.50 bottle of wine I could have brought from the local Hook Norton Brewery near me. I accept that there must be a profit but do not like being taken advantage of. Also the Waitress spent over 10 minutes at a table next to us with her friend where it was obvious they had not seen each other for some time. I have no issue with that,. however when she is bent over for all that time and her rear end is only inches from my wife's face during our meal that is unacceptable. Additions of more "soft FF&E to absorb noise would help, and as we are both just over 5 foot tall, the sofa's are two low for people of this stature on the two seat tables which makes eating uncomfortable. Consideration to having some 2 seat tables with standard tables and chairs (like the four and six seat tables) would be an improvement.
The food was good but the wait staff was terrible.
The steak is great, quiet atmosphere and friendly staff, would come back
