Grilla - Allerton Road

NOT GOOD, service was slow, meal was just a slab of meat and salad, had to sit on a bench! Only saving grace was that it was cheap. Would NOT go again.

Lovely fresh food in huge portions. Friendly service and reasonably priced menu. We were a table of 7 and we went on a Tuesday evening - there was a special deal on of 2 courses for £9.80. There was so much food we couldn't finish it so took some home with us! They even gave us a free home made mini lemon cake at the end and a shot. A good time was had by all.

Visited Grilla on Saturday evening they were very busy upstairs with two big bookings and it was a bit noisy. Waited a while to be asked about drinks then waited a while for them to arrive considering we were sitting right next to the bar this was a little frustrating. Our food was very nice not as spicy as l thought it would be but very nice the servings are huge the service was slow and that is what let Grilla down .

Lovely restaurant, very good service! Food is delicious and portions are massive! Highly recommend to anyone! Love the little dessert at the end as well when you get your bill, so cute and it is so tasty!

Perfect food, wine, service and atmosphere. The staff are lovely as is the food and I will definitely return. The early menu is great value.

The garlic mushroom starter did not taste very nice at all and our mains were dry. The very small gravy sauce portion was watery and tasteless and the salad was tasteless too. Very disappointing compared to Hardman Street Grilla. We were seated on a table with others too, which we were surprised about. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great food and huge portion sizes. Service was brilliant will most definitely return. Excellent value on the early bird menu. Lovely atmosphere and lovely decor.

Excellent quality of food and service. We had a quiet meal for our 35th wedding anniversary and we were delighted with the atmosphere and the attentive and helpful staff.

The restaurant set up was lovely, my only gripe was the hard seats on benches with thin cushions as I have a bad back, which hurt to sit on after a little while. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing! I definitely recommend. I've rated a 5 instead of 6 just because my partner and I had never been before and our entrance was confusing. We were greeted initially (I pre booked) then shown to a table upstairs and left alone without menus or being asked if we'd like a drink. I waited for around for a short while and went to the bar for drinks and had to ask for menus. It was all in all still a lovely experience and I would 100% recommend.

Absolutely amazing food and service, followed by a free desert. We will definetly be going back very soon. We have recommended Grilla to all our family and friends

Despite booking we didn’t actually make it to a table at Grilla! It was busy but the place was in chaos. The staff all seemed to be snapping at each other, no one seemed to know what was going on and other people were complaining about the wait and quality of the food. After waiting half and hour after our booking time for a table, whilst everyone else apppeared to be being seated around us, we decided to give up and leave. When we left there was no apology for the wait, nor even an acknowledgement of it. We begrudgingly paid for the drinks we had at the downstairs till to someone who appeared to be the manager. He was only able to muster a grunt in our direction. This was made all the more irritating by the fact there was an empty table downstairs so why we were waiting in the first place is unclear. All in all a really bad experience. I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t make it that far but the customer service was dreadful

Delicious! Great Monday offer on the mixed Grilla. There was so much food we took some home. Will definitely be back and can’t wait to try the take away menu.

We visited on a Monday night and had the Grilla for two which had 30% off offer. Plenty of food, deliciously cooked and the staff are fabulous too! The complimentary dessert is also a lovely treat! Great food at a great price! Will definitely return.

Fantastic service from a young lady upstairs, Very helpfully with the dishes on the menu and very certious and polite. Great attribute to the restaurant. Food was spot on and will defenatly be going 10/10

Really friendly service. Simple, Greek style food - reminded all of us of holidays in Greece. Everything is well prepared and the portions are enormous. Great value for money as well. The restaurant is new, very well designed and if the sun is out the outdoor seating is lovely. Will certainly return
