A fusion of different influences and flavours, Nepalese cuisine often sits under the shadow of its bigger neighbours China and India, but at London’s Gurkha Square you can experience it for yourself, as well as some time-tested Indian classics. Start of your meal with some momos (steamed dumplings filled with lamb or vegetables and served with a special Nepalese chutney) or go for an Indian staple like the onion bhaji or seekh kebab. Then try some gurkha chicken (boneless chicken cooked in a mild masala sauce with exotic fruits) or few fish curry (tilapia fish cooked with coconut milk, crushed garlic and curry leaves). Whether you want to try something a bit different, or stick to an old favourite, there’s something to suit all tastes at Gurkha Square. You’ll find it located on Belmont Parade in Chislehurst – book a table and head on over!
Good food, and good attentive staff who will cook for your specific needs if necessary. I am never disappointed with this restaurant in Fleet, Hants
Excellent food and service interrupted by a call from the restaurant to ask if I was coming when I was half way through my starter!!
Lovely food ,nice staff but lacked authentisicity , the restaurant is quite bland and sterile and resembled more of a hotel foyer, and needs painting to clean it up!
