Right in the centre of Belfast, Harlem Cafe is nestled inside the historic Ulster Hall and makes for one of the most elegant dining experiences in the city. Sit amongst eclectic and antique decor as you indulge in local fare that’s been made with love for breakfast or for lunch. Begin your day with and English or Irish breakfast, some fresh scones or a red velvet pancake stack, while later in the day there are salads, gourmet sandwiches, sharing boards and an impressive selection of homemade cakes that are to die for. Many options are vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free, meaning Harlem Cafe Belfast has something for all. On the city centre’s Bedford Street, it’s an extremely popular spot as well, so do reserve a table in advance.
Great cafe which always delivers fab food and service with a smile. Ideally located in the city centre & now opens late on a Friday & Saturday
Brilliant from start to finish, lovely atmosphere and food was delish. We had our evening meal on Saturday and would highly recommend the sharing platter.
Pleasant evening, food tasty, and lovely setting. Surprised and a bit disappointed that a service charge is automatically added for a group of 4 diners.
Excellent service - and food same. Would have been helpful to let us know the mixed starter platter would serve 4. We were only 2 & had ordered a substantial main meal so sadly couldn't do the food the justice it deserved. Otherwise highly recommended.
Hi we had reserved a table online but didn't seem to be on system but after a short wait we got seated The table was badly situate squashe din a corner poorly cleaned and we had doffs getting in and out Our food was okay but my breakfast was not warm We had ordered a second coffee and had to ask for same again after 10 mins The staff were nicee & very busy
Such a perfect, must-go breakfast brunch spot in Belfast. The decor and the food are divine and the staff are simply lovely! Highly recommend their bloody Mary’s (just may be the best one I have had outside the US), cappuccino, and French toast!
An awesome atmosphere, however, the food was not tasting that good as expected. We had fish and burger and both did not have a lot of taste and I had to use a lot of salt and sauces in order to make the taste better. It was OK, however, I expected a better tasting experience since the bar was rated to good.
Lovely Atmosphere. Located in the Centre of Belfast within easy walking distance of the City Hall and Bus & Train Stations. Good place for a chat over a tea or coffee during the day.
We were taken directly to our table without having to wait. The ambience and decor were great, staff friendly and lovely food. Would definitely book this restaurant again.
We had made a booking online and this did not appear to make any difference as we still had to queue for over 30 minutes as others who had not reserved were seated. Food and setting was nice when we were in, but should remove booking system if not honoured.
