Just when we think we’ve hit peak burger, we’re proved wrong. This enduring trend is fast becoming a mainstay of the dining scene in the capital, and with Hollywood Grill in Streatham serving up some serious burgers of their own, it looks like this meat sandwich has legs left yet. On Streatham Hill Road in south London, there are burgers and waffles aplenty – in fact the major players from American diner-style eating are out here in force.
Hollywood Grill in London’s Streatham offers all the classics of American diner food in one place. Guests are returning again and again for classic burgers (the more bacon, the better, amirite?) as well as indulgent starters big enough to share and desserts that rely on sugar, sugar and more sugar. And while none of this can be good for your waistline, with dishes like Ferrero and Nutella madness waffles and banoffee banana splits we reckon the indulgence is worth it, and with the station not far away, you can roll up Streatham Hill Road home if necessary.
The stars of the show at Hollywood Grill, however, are the burgers. Bringing together the tried-and-tested formula of cheese and bacon to delight burger lovers in London, these is plenty here to please Streatham diners. However, it's not all about beef at this Streatham Hill Road eatery, the Bollywood Burger brings together east and west with spicy Indian-inspired lamb patties, good for those that don’t eat beef. This American-style diner is everything you want from a burger place: huge portions, big flavours and a certain disregard for RDAs and calories.
Nice food, it was on time and was delicious. A bit more effort could have been made on the appearance but apart from that it was good.
Lovey food but very slow service but did give a discount on because of this
