Having read previous reviews i was expecting a really good experience, sadly. this was not the case...can’t fault the flavours, but to be honest for value, i can’t score anymore than a 3...i could honestly have counted the pasta on my plate there was so little and the breaded chicken, overcooked and dry, again too, very small.our main had to be returned as pasta was cold..a new .smaller plateful arrived, rectified....all in all due to this and the falseness of the waitress, very brisque manner...we shan’t be returning...nor could we in all conscience recommend. One plus point...other waitresses were friendly, genuine girls...

We found this hidden treasure just this year. Food is fantastic and the service from the team is first class. We have booked up for our Christmas dinner because of these reasons.

Every one was happy with their food and mine was very good indeed. And the venue is lovely. But the experience was marred by loud and weird music that reminded of an 'Italian restaurant' sketch from Benny Hill or a Peter Sellers movie. And the chef who seems to have anger issues could be heard bellowing at the staff throughout the evening.

Delicious food and lovely surroundings, staff very nice. Will definitely return! Only downside was bar service a bit slow, it was very busy but kitchen service was perfect, right time in between courses and food piping hot.

first visit. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. Service slowed down as the evening went on - but it was a busy Saturday night. Good value.

We had a lovely meal. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Only problem was i had requested a table for 4 in the conservatory as 1 of our guests is disabled. This was ot passed on and we were being shown further away. However, the staff immediayely rectified the situation on being alerted.

Lovely place. Very relaxing. Staff where very attentive. Lovely pate/terrine to start, although it had a coating of herby butter around it, which could have been slightly thinner.

Delicious food and great service. Staff were very accommodating, setting up a room to make it easier for wheelchair access. Very welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I have family up from Coventry and took them to Il Capo at The Redstones. We ordered from the pre theatre menu and we were all absolutely delighted with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the waiting staff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food great. Wasted by the fact that service was poor and slow. Waited over 20 mins before even being given a menu. Then nearly the same for coffees. Was a pity as the food was good and staff good also when they could be bothered.
