About Imperial Cantonese Restaurant

Despite the name, Imperial Cantonese Restaurant serves food from more than just the Cantonese region of China. Yep, Peking food, Sichuan, whatever you want. Imperial is a wonderful Chinese restaurant in the centre of Scunthorpe on Pavilion Row, just off Doncaster Road, and while it’s only a small dining space, the menu is packed with Chinese favourites that are so well-loved up and down the UK. A recommendation from us would certainly be to try the house special lamb satay. That, alongside many others, are what make Imperial Cantonese Restaurant one of the most in Scunthorpe.

We have used Imperial for many years. I had seen a write up saying staff fab food not so good. Staff are excellent. Food hot cooked well and nicely presented. I went with daughter me in a wheelchair. We met some family members by chance and a table quickly arranged for us. Well done 😊 10 out of 10

Warm welcome. Speedy service, all with a smile and pleasant attitude. Provided helpful advice for menu. Food was excellent as was the alcoholic coffee after the meal!

Although the lady serving was polite , I felt she wasn't enjoying her role. The food portions felt small and the evening felt rushed somehow. The dessert menu was poor but what was ordered (chocolate pud) was very well presented
