Excellent food and good value for money. Just the opening hours not suitable for the weekend. Have visited twice and will definitely visit again. Thanks

The food was excellent and seemed very authentic. Waiters had a good level of customer care and service was very quick although the surroundings were showing some wear and tear.

Lovely food and great service , worth going to Indian Ocean staff very friendly . We alll had a lovely time , place is clean and tidy .

Lovely food and accommodated a smaller curry for my 9yr old daughter. service was excellent and were quick at topping up our poppadoms and chutney.

The restaurant decor is a little tired and certainly needs a link of paint and new carpet. However, the food was stunning. Best Indian I've had in a long time.

Nice food, large portions, but slow service. Different waiters kept taking our orders, but popadums and drinks took ages to eventually arrive. No atmosphere. First indian meal in Bournemouth so cannot compare with other local restaurants.

Very nice food but the restaurant could do with a redec, but apart from that food and staff was excellent,,,lovely and friendly people,, I would definitely go back for a meal there again,,

We booked a table for 5.00pm as we were going to a concert. Although only just opened for the evening everyone was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and as a result we ordered rather too much. But we were offered what we couldn't manage in a doggy bag! Fantastic - we had seconds later on!

Good basic Indian. Friendly, no frills. The service did seem to take a long time, that might be because it was Saturday night. Enjoyed the evening. Thanks

good service good curry but chose the wrong one, will go again . Parking a real problem very lucky to get a place near restaurant

Lovely meal & company. Very nice & quite in there. Chicken tikka was beautiful & so was the bombay potato. Very enjoyable evening all round at the Indian ocean.

Fantastic food and service, friendly and attentive staff. A lovely light modern restaurant in a good location close to beaches shops and hotels, will definitely be returning shortly.
