I enjoyed a great dining experience at Jagos in the evening of 21st April 2015. Top notch food which was freshly cooked to our taste. Very attentive and knowledegable staff who looked after us really well and a lovely evening atmosphere with the music at just the right level. Finishing everthing off with their excellent selection of cheeses we left very satisifed but no overfaced. Would recommend !

The food was absolutely delicious. I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The wine was also brilliant and the staff just the right amount of helpful and enthusiastic. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Great setting too. Will be going back

Delicious cocktails at the funky looking bar (vodka martini & negroni) before being seated in the restaurant. Very buzzy but we didn't feel crammed in. We ordered a whole heap of starters to share (beetroot polenta, croquettes - must order these!!) So tasty! still thinking of them today... get yourself down there - wont be disappointed!

Very good food and atmosphere. We will definitely go again. The only slight issue was the service which we felt was a bit casual. However, overall an excellent restaurant.

Excellent place for lunch meetings - good food, cool environment. The workers lunch is fantastic value and very tasty. The beef curry was wonderfully aromatic and tender. Coffee is very strong.

lovely food and service. Great place to catch up with friends over good food and wine. The starters really stood out - we loved the calcots, cod and beans on toast (!).

Jago is one of the best dining experiences I've had in London for many years now. Great atmosphere and absolutely outstanding food. Best of the best in regards to exciting combinations of flavours with a spanish flare. We shared about five starters and one main. You must do this too in order to taste more of their dishes. Fantastic wine list too using wine from smaller vineyards focusing on an all-natural process of creation without additives to influence the flavours. I will be going back very soon.

Good location, friendly and knowledgeable staff, food overall good. Not sure we could identify the Ashkenazi influence - but Ottolenghi, certainly. Dessert wines interesting. Give it a try.

Interesting food - I had the veal goulash as a main, and my companion the hake with broccoli - both very tasty though not huge portions so if you like a large plateful maybe not so good. Overall it was a fun buzzy place offering different food to many of the restaurants in the Brick Lane area. We liked the interesting Orange decor - the world seemed very grey and gloomy after an hour or so in Jago's.

Food was simple and well executed, wine was excellent, overall good value. Dessert was a relative weak point with a rock-hard frozen cheesecake, which was like eating a large ice cube. Overall really good addition to the neighbourhood and I even liked the Austin Powers style interior.

Jago is a lovely restaurant in a very unique place. The interior design is very interesting and contributes to made it very welcoming. The food is a kind of Ottolenghi, fresh products, lots of vegetables and plenty of tasty fresh herbs. Besides the menu, they prepare at least four different dishes everyday. If you like to have variety in your plate, they offer the possibility to combine portions of those dishes. Lovely.

Lovely space, the staff are very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent, simple well balanced ingredients but we would have liked a few more vegetable options to balance out the richness of the other dishes.

It is a lovely experience sitting in the conservatory-like setting here. Most excellent advice on wine from Hugh and delicious food especially the scallops, octopus and haddock. The orange cake was as ever fabulous and we missed the frozen cheesecake this time around.

Lovely, good value and 'fine-dining' quality. Fun, 70's futurist decor. Good value wine and other drinks as well especially by London standards. Unpasteurized cheese delicious and unusual.

It wasn't too busy (there was an event going on in the bar which was quite loud though) & we waited for a while having only been given water (it took about 15 mins to get a menu ). We tried to get the waitresses attention who said she'd be with us shortly. After 30 mins, we left as were hungry & service is all part of the experience. Shame as menu looked good

Would recommend checking this place out if you want to be at the epicentre of East London tech. Really cool architecture. It also embodies pretty much everything ridiculous about Shoreditch....but in a good way.

Excellent customer service and cocktails, those alone would make me go back! A very knowledgeable waiter helped choose a perfect wine to accompany our food. Also a great space, could be perfect setting to host creative workshops followed by dinner in this environment.

We had read some good things about this restaurant but were very disappointed. The setting is strange and awkward - the restaurant sits in what feels like an extended office lobby overlooked by a series of glass fronted hot-desking facilities - not the making of a great atmosphere. The service was anything but focussed on the clients - slow and lacking charm. Worst of all the food was very disappointing - strange combinations of flavours that just did not taste good. We shared six different dishes and only one, the pressed pork belly, would pass as enjoyable. Regret we would not recommend this place.

Food was amazing, cannot note any faults with the flavours or presentation. Service was not so inviting, front of house stuff seemed too 'cool' to smile and too busy to serve customers, we waited almost 30 mins for our plates to be removed and receive the desserts menu, and a further 15 mins for the bill. I would definitely recommend the food but it may have to be a take away.

Really relaxed vibe, great setting and the food was pretty good too. Service may be a little slow for some and the toilets all blocked when we were there which, although inconvenient, could happen anywhere I guess! In all though I really liked it and would recommend people to try it.

It was a lovely change to your usual restaurant atmosphere. However it was a bit chilly due to the slats in the bench running along the perspex outer layer. The food however was simple, but delicious. Really enjoyed my evening here. Will be back.

Very quirk place, oddly no name anywhere so weren't sure we were in the right place! Began with my friend rather hurriedly ordering a glass of wine from the top selection listed, which turned out t be vile - we asked the waitress what it was and she said maybe a dessert wine but she didn't know. We said it was awful, it really did taste terrible, and she just took it away without offering to refund. We placed our order, and after 30minutes asked where it was, and it turned out the order hadn't made it to the kitchen! We were given our bottle of wine we had ordered on the house by way of apology, and when the food did arrive it was delicious. Grilled cheese and salt beef were amazing, veal goulash good too. Great food, odd location, almost a long tube attached to what is peraps an office? Canteen? Who knows? and not very clued up staff made for a slightly surreal experience. Toilets were overflowing and not very pleasant. Nice to try, but we won't be returning.

The interior design is very unique. The food is amazing, tasteful and modern-cuisine. Portions are small though so it is better to order more than usual and share. The wine list is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a lovely evening and we absolutely enjoyed our dinner. Thank You Jago!
