Staff friendly and were great about us delaying our order so one of our group who was stuck in traffic could get there. Food good and goood sized portions.

We had a very evening here. Drinks on arrival seated next to the lovely stove; very tasteful seasonal decorations; staff were welcoming and pleasant. The menus had plenty of choice, including a Christmas one and vegan, and the food was hot, tasty and plenty! We will go again.

Unfortunately their internet was down and we could only pay cash which I didn't have. We were advised the garage had a cash point but the traffic was so bad it would have been difficult to get back.... So we decided to go elsewhere.

Staff very accomodating. Service extremely efficient. The only thing we could fault was that we felt rather chilly in the upstairs seating area. Otherwise, everything was very good.

Very quiet, but was Monday evening, food only ok, hubby's chicken pie was mostly pastry, & seafood risotto could have had more fish in, but dessert's lovely though.

Love their roast dinner ! Lots of and delicious. Great staff, very attentive.

It was the second time we had visited the first being the previous Sunday for lunch , with a 2 year old. On both occasions everything was very good and I would definitely recommend it. We will go again.

Lovely food and the majority of the staff are friendly with smiles on their faces. A couple of the staff members could do with working on their people skills and waitressing. I didn’t appreciate them passing food and drinks over my sleeping baby.

Previous management was far better, left feeling very disappointed, we could tell that the food was a lot lower quality than before.

This was a birthday lunch for four diners. There has been a change of ownership since we last dined here and on the strength of this visit it is a change for the better. All four of us chose a two course meal from the fixed price menu and we thought this represented excellent value for money.

Restaurant closed due to gas leak. They were courteous enough to call and tell me. Had an excellent steak at the Chineham Arms instead

Lovely staff and atmosphere. Need a mirror opposite exit onto road for pulling out or boards need moving for visibility.

First time back for some years and found it a much better experience - food and staff were excellent.

Small group of friends. Friendly welcome. Appropriate we’ll maintained decor. Good atmosphere and great service and food. We had the weekenders deal and thought it good value.
