Kathmandu Gurkha Restaurant & Bar

As always, food and service were spot on. I always have something I haven’t had before when going to Kathmandu, I’m never disappointed. Delicious food, and the best Keema Naan I’ve ever tasted.

Food lovely . Waiter looked miserable and disinterested. I told him we’d booked didn’t want to know what name. Service poor left waiting never came to ask if food ok or if we wanted any more drinks etc In between 1st and 2nd course long wait We’re going to order deserts/ coffees couldn’t get anyone’s attention

Although I booked through your site they had no idea we were coming and hastily arranged a table for 4 into a table for 5, won't be using this site again.

Warm welcome but terrible service.... my friends curry came, but not her rice she ordered...the nan bread was forgotten... my dish came 20 minutes later and the cola was flat...... won't return I'm afraid....

This restaurant was the best me and my family had ever been to the food was absalutly amazing...we all said it was the best we had ever tasted.......

The restaurant had no recollection of this booking. They left us waiting and the waiters were pretty unaccommodating for the rest of the night. Food was great but service was lacking.

Arrived and was pointed to a table. We then sat for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged, given the menu or offered drinks. We therefore walked out. Terrible service.

After 90 minutes we had only been served popadoms. The restaurant wasn’t busy at this time. Food was awesome but a long wait this time.

Delicious food, private table & excellent staff. Bit of a wait between courses but we preferred that so could chat as other restaurants rush you out. Definitely will visit again.

I’ve been several times. The food at the Sunday buffet never disappoints. There is an excellent range of food to choose from and the curries offer a different selection each time. The staff are friendly, helpful and very polite. It’s excellent value for money too.
