Furthering its reputation as Maryhill’s finest Indian restaurant, Killermont Polo Club has upped its game even more in recent times with a refurbishment, name change and improvements in the kitchen that saw it named one of the finalists at the 2016 Scottish Curry Awards. That should tell you everything you need to know about the quality of food on offer at Killermont Polo Club, but it’s worth noting that in addition to familiar Indian favourites there is a wealth of more exotic dishes available either a la carte or from the amazing buffet. Highlights include a delicate curry made from ground almonds, cashews and rare wild herbs, as well as a number of Uzbeki-inspired Dum Pukht dishes from the days of the Indian Moghul emperors. Right beside the University of Glasgow campus at Garscube, Killermont Polo Club has an ideal location and beautiful, old club-style atmosphere that makes it truly one of a kind in Maryhill.
Taken gere by friends for 50th birthday celebration. Fantastic buffet and very attentive staff. Excellent choice of Starters and main courses. Will definitely return soon.
Had a lovely time at the polo club. The food was good and staff friendly and attentive. Been before and will return. My daughter is also a frequent visitor.
Very quiet for Friday night, service and food good. Would recommend it, plenty of parking makes a change from Glasgow city centre. Will go again
Really enjoyed our evening at the Polo Club. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
Nice but not great. We used to go there regularly 15 years ago and wanted a little trip down memory lane however the ambience was not the same. Current owners could learn by recreating its heyday.
Food very good. However service not great. Red wine appeared in a wine cooler and took ages to get main course. It looked like they had a lot of new serving staff.
