About Kilted Kangaroo
About the restaurant
It’s well known that hordes of Scots ventured to the mysterious land of Oz, contributing significantly to that country’s modern development, but save for countless series of Neighbours and a few rugby union players, the reverse flow has not been very strong. Kilted Kangaroo in Stirling is changing this, bringing oodles of Australian character to punters at their Upper Craigs bar and eatery in the city centre. The funky bar at Kilted Kangaroo is a popular spot, decked out with Australiana and low-hanging wooden beams. For outright Aussie tastes there is a killer pavlova and perfectly pink kangaroo rump steak from the grill, but their menu goes way beyond the Antipodes with some Scottish (locally sourced haggis medallions with whisky and mustard mayo are pretty hard to stop eating) touches, plenty of pub favourites, behemoth burgers, Mexican standards, healthy wraps or salads, desserts, kids meals and a whole lot more.
