For a full Spanish experience in the heart of London, pay a visit to Notting Hill’s La Bodega Restaurant. With an al fresco dining area overlooking the famous Portobello Market, a combination of the buzzing vibe, authentic Spanish cuisine and great wine will have you feeling like you’re in Barcelona or Madrid. Share some tapas around the table with friends for the full experience; only some of the delicious choices on the menu include the Galician octopus with virgin olive oil, paprika and potatoes, homemade ham croquettes, chicken wings in a piri piri sauce, Spanish omelette, pickled red peppers filled with cod and the gorgeous chorizo.
Or you can tuck into a main course dish like the paella valenciana (rice with chicken, green and sweet peppers) or some market fresh seafood like the gambas a la plancha (grilled prawns in a garlic sauce). Situated on Tavistock Road in London’s Notting Hill area, La Bodega Restaurant is popular for both lunch and dinner. To avoid disappointment, making a reservation in advance is recommended!
Friendly staff, nice food, atomospher, and reasonable price. When it comes to Spanish restaurant in London, I always recommend this place to my friends and enjoyed the meal.
Very nice place and staff! A bit of real Spanish in London where you can eat one of the bests tapas! I recommend a lot.
Hi as always we had an excellent lunch at La Bodega. The owner Juan greeted us at the door and took us to our table. The food was the usual excellent standard, served hot, fresh and promptly. Pity we don't have a La Bodega in Beaconsfield!!
It was not my first time to visit this place and I always enjoyed a lot of delicious food, relaxing and open atmosphere. I will visit again.
No record of our reservation, but thankfully they managed to accommodate a table of 5 people. Restaurant was very busy and the service was slow. Two of our party are in their 70s and the restaurant is very noisy so hard to hear each other. But the food is great.
Excellent food and the atmosphere was really authentic. Would recommend to Spanish food lovers, especially if you can get a seat outdoors. Washed down with Estrella beer!
Most helpful staff in a congenital atmosphere. Very good food but could have done with a bit more veg. My visitor took you card to use with her group of friends.
It was slightly tough to communicate with staffs once they can not speak English but speak Spanish. However, food was awesome. We really enjoyed our dinner.
When we arrived, we waited for 10 mn to be seated and then, as we were not told anything by the staff, we decided to leave the premises and went to dine elsewhere.
