Proprietors Oliver Renton, Ben Riley and Simon Miller are proud to bring their love for Spanish cuisine to their old stomping grounds in Boston Spa, just outside of Leeds proper and a few miles south of Wetherby. Having already gained a massive foodie following at their London outlet, the three friends knew that La Casita would be a huge hit in the quaint West Yorkshire village – and right they were! Serving an array of fine Spanish wines, as well as an impressive craft beer selection, the bar at La Casita is the perfect place to knock a few back with friends after a long day at work.
At La Casita, every plate on the menu, no matter how large or small, has a perfectly matched drink to go along with it. Pair your wine or beer with charcuterie, cheeses or imported Spanish ham. Enjoy savoury tapas like soft shell crab with saffron and garlic, Spanish tortilla, ox cheeks, garlic prawns, patatas bravas, and chorizo cooked in red wine, or just come by for the sangria alone (it’s amazing). An ideal meeting point for Boston Spa residents and daytrippers visiting from Leeds and afar, La Casita is open every day of the week for lunch and dinner. Don’t hesitate to book a table now!
The food and service was lovely! Especially the pork cheeks and the selection of gin! I can highly recommend a visit we had a great evening.
Wonderful food and excellent service from Aleysha. Definitely recommended. Looked after very attentively along as was our 6 week old baby. Great ambiance too. 10/10
Great selection of tapas, all of which were cooked well, piping hot and very tasty. Knowledgeable and friendly staff gave a great service. Highly recommended.
Sensational food, service occasionally slack, and lack of glasses quite poor; (but quality of food made up for it)! Could be absolutely top restaurant with just a little TLC! Overall, menu is great and food is better! Lovely evening despite waiting 25 mins for bottle of wine!!! 😏
Hello. I just wanted to post on here to say thank you to all the staff at La Casita, Boston Spa who were working there last night. My wife and I came to the restaurant for my wife's birthday. Through no fault of the restaurant our table was delayed. The staff were absolutely great though. They kept us posted as to where things were up to. They brought us both a complimentary glass of prosecco. They also brought us a complimentary cheese board at the end of our meal. All their efforts were very much appreciated and we had a lovely time. Regardless of the complimentary additions we received, the evening was very pleasant. The atmosphere at La Casita, Boston Spa is really good and the food is excellent. Thank you very much to all the team at the restaurant. We will certainly be recommending you to others and we will certainly be back for sure.
It was our first time at La Casita and we were seriously impressed. We had a varied and delicious selection of tapas: the chorizo popcorn was especially nice. The service was very good and the venue itself is very attractive, with the town car park conveniently just over the road. And it's very reasonably priced. We'll be back!
La Casita is a real hidden gem in Boston Spa. The food is amazing, the service is great, the atmosphere is relaxed and there is an excellent choice of wine and good quality gin. We find this place to be a perfect mid week escape from having to cook for ourselves.
Nice restaurant with lovely outside space at the back for sunny days or warm evenings. Restaurant was upstairs and decor was good. Staff very pleasant and food enjoyable (but maybe not the best tapas I've eaten). In saying that, nothing was left uneaten! We had a mixture of meat and fish dishes with patatas bravas and truffle fries. We also had bread with balsamic and olive oil - all very nice. Dessert - Chef very obliging as he'd run out of chocolate sauce for the churros and said if we didnt mind waiting he'd make more. The churros were delicious. Gin cocktail before meal was very nice. They had made the infusion themselves, the waitress explained; a nice touch.
The menu has an excellent choice of food and we thoroughly enjoyed what we had. The wine list is extensive; great atmosphere and excellent service - I would highly recommend La Casita to anyone.
Excellent food and relaxed but professional service. I would highly recommend La Casita. Particular favourite dishes for us were: Patatas Bravas, chorizo in red wine and the meatballs. We will be back.
We love to dine at La Casita. The food is always excellent, the wine menu is well selected and the staff are always well informed and helpful. A local gem.
The food was amazing we enjoyed everything. The only slight problem was service. The girls serving us were lovely but we weren't told about the specials which the couple next to us who arrived after were told about (we'd already ordered by this point). They took a long time to take our drinks order and then again for the food order. But other than that we did enjoy it overall.
The food at La Casita is lovely and the staff are really pleasant and helpful in choosing the right amount of dishes required. Thanks for a super meal.
Another lovely meal at La Casita! Service impeccable too. The Tapas came at regular intervals and all utterly delicious. A great Tempranillo to wash it all down.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at La Casita - the food, drink and service in this restaurant were excellent and I would definitely recommend anyone to visit
Easy to book online. We were welcomed in a friendly manner and the waitress was very helpful with explanations of food. All the dishes we ordered were of excellent quality ... These included prawns, chicken, chorizo, vegetables, salad and potato dishes. This is not our first visit and will not be our last!
Lovely little place in boston spa. The food was lovely, however the portion sizes could of been a slightly bigger. They suggest 5 dishes between two, I would say 6 to 7 depending on appetite (I'm not a big eater, but felt like I had a snack apposed to a meal. My only negative point was that the olives we order came out of a jar! Not fresh and covered in brine.
My view of what La Casita offers is mixed ... the food is generally very good but isn't great value for money. What really lets it down is the service which simply isn't good enough. The staff appear very inexperienced and attention to the basics is seriously lacking.
A little disappointed when we arrived to see that the menu had been changed but after eating realised it had been changed for the better. Fantastic meal and can't wait to return but the New Zealand wine was expensive at £35 - even more expensive than Rudding Park!!
Most enjoyable evening. Staff all very helpful ,friendly and smiley faces! Great atmosphere, cosy setting. Food delicious. We went for set menu at £15 a head letting them choose for us, but adding two of our favourite dishes, wonderful. Will reccomend to all our friends.
A friendly welcome and excellent service. The food was absolutely stunning, beautifully presented and excellent. The flavours amazing. The venue is small but comfortable and welcoming, no rushing you to order, or pressure on you to leave. Will definitely be going there again and again.
We had a lovely meal at La Casita for Valentine's Day, great food and great wine. Would say best Tapas restaurant in the local area.
This was our fourth visit to La Casita in Boston Spa, and although the food was very nice, we felt it that it had lost something from our previous visits. The food seemed that little bit more ordinary. That said, we still had a very enjoyable evening. When we return, and we will, hopefully it will have regained it's 'sparkle'
Another excellent night at La Casita, the food seems to get better and the sangria is always delicious. Highly recommended.
Really delicious food and decent wine. My daughter loved the chorizo sauce do much she hid the dish so it didn't get taken away before more bread arrived. We had at least 10 dishes and all were very tasty
Excellent service and excellent food, this is my favourite Tapas Bar by far, car parking is close and free and Boston Spa is a wonderfully picturesque little village. Certainly worth a visit, the duck breast is worth it alone.
- Good food - Small portions - Approx. £6 each, should order 5pp - Expensive - Service was quick - Nice atmosphere - Clean premises - Given a wrong dish - One waitress was quite unsure of things - Other waitress was very good - Both very pleasant Overall great menu but too expensive and servers too confused.
We managed to sit outside on a warm summers day, and the whole experience was great. The waitress was delightful, the food and portion sizes were great (the chorizo popcorn was fantastic), and a nice bottle of crisp white to wash it down. Inexpensive to boot.
The food was very good the service was excellent. It was our first time at the Boston spa tapas my husband has been to the horsforth one a few times and so enjoyed it. wecwill be back soon.
The whole meal was really good. Amazing tasty food, and excellent service. The atmosphere was lovely as it was busy so wasn't quiet like it can be sometimes. Its one of my favourite places to go and eat.
Great little restaurant in lovely village. Really tasty authentic tapas dishes. You can order as many or as few as you feel like, we ordered a few between 4 of us, then had a break and then ordered some more. Great atmosphere and attentive staff.
Great service & delicious food! Would like to see a few more or new vegetarian options. Lovely, quirky restaurant, do feel a bit squashed in. Will definitely dine here again. Food been consistently good on every visit.
Fantastic food and service. Great choice of dishes to suit all tastes. Will definitely be back to sample more tapas and a glass of sherry. Mushrooms with squash, blue cheese pear salad & prawns are highly recommended.
Excellent food. Service slow, we took our order to the bar! Then told we had 2minutes before they needed our table for the next booking. Not really a problem as we were getting ready to leave but could have been avoided if service better.
It's always great. Lovely attentive, yet respectful staff. Great wine selection which works so well with the food. Any of the fish is wonderfully cooked fish, there are obviously beautiful tapas dishes and great cheese selection.
Food was excellent. Staff were lovely - really friendly and helpful. Only slight niggle - they didn't clear our plates for ages and we had to ask for deserts, coffees and more drinks. Will definitely come back again. Great little restaurant.
Great food, lovely atmosphere. Quirky building with small, cosy rooms all linked and uneven floors. Young staff were a bit clueless on serving wine but they are very good natured and friendly. Food comes in waves making a varied and interesting meal.
Good selection of food on the menu and staff were friendly and knowledgeable about what the dishes comprised of. Choice of drinks was a little limited. Access to the toilets is very awkward having to go up a steep spiral staircase.
First visit, really good food, excellent sangria, nice atmosphere and I'm sure I will visit again. Didn't get chance to check out the courtyard but hope to when the weather warms up a bit!
A lovely evening outside in the courtyard. Imaginative food with tastes to thickly every palette. Service attentive and pleasant. For further client info, there is a public (free) carpark just across the road, opposite.
Had a trip with a friend to celebrate our joint birthdays. Ordered 5 or 6 tapas which were duly delivered. Extremely tasty food and reasonable sized portions. Final bill was palatable too so we left feeling repleat vowing to return!
Delicious food and fantastic stand out service. Only comment (and I wouldnt call it a criticism) is that tapas dishes came out too a little too fast - we were a bit overwhelmed!
Great food once again. Nice atmosphere with great staff working hard offering a wonderful foodie experience. A change of menu with great specials. Sea bass hmmmmmm . Top night out in Boston Spa
Spoilt for choice! Everything we ordered came quickly and waiting staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. Well presented, a riot of colour, flavour and texture. Will be back soon.
Great experience had on a Friday evening for dinner. Beautiful food, every single dish was scrummy...especially pigs cheeks and chorizo popcorn....great wines selection and gin cocktails! Cannot fault....looking forward to going back.
Very tasty food and pleasant staff. A lovely glass of Spanish Sauvignon Blanc too! The entrance to the resturant could be a bit tidier. The gin terrace looks as if it would be fun on a balmy evening.
Great food as always. Good value for money. The staff are always really helpful & friendly. Lovely to have a local restaurant with a good atmosphere any day of the week.
Amazing food and very friendly staff . I would highly recommend this restaurant . A lovely atmosphere . Also the drinks menu is quite extensive with some lovely gin cocktails !
Great food and nice pace that the dishes came out. Lots of time to enjoy and savour without being over face. All you can eat for £15 is a fantastic deal. Good service, good wine. Loved it.
Charming, quick & attentive !! Great value menu which is superb with a great wine list. Cosy environment and really friendly staff. Good for s big group or a couple!
