Great food, attentive service and an authentic feel to the surroundings. Definitely going back again. This was our first visit. Speak in Spanish if you like!
Lovely restaurant and lovely food. Staff are all friendly and looked after us, so no complaints :) Lovely Valentines meal, happy customers and would definately book again X
Great people and food. Had a wonderful evening eating north Spanish cuisine. Would recommend this place. The decor is also very nice and rustic. Enjoy
Great authentic paella. We love going to this long established little restaurant, the paella and tapas are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Well worth trying!
We booked for a 12.30 lunch but were almost 1/2 too early - no problem at all. Starters were excellent - Garlic mushrooms and Gambas - and the paella was just fabulous. Very friendly service and this despite a large group of schoolchildren (between 40 and 50!) who were obviously experiencing a Spanish meal. The children were very well behaved too and seemed to enjoy their food - best of all though was the appreciative sound effects when churros were served! Well done to the trio @ La Paella and another 'thumbs up' goes to the schoolchildren and their teachers who were probably on their end of term treat.
The service was pretty good, and they are very friendly. I didn't rate 6 because we realized after we left the restaurant that we didn't get all dishes we ordered. I am not sure if they didn't take note for this order (Calabacin Fritas) when we order at first or they forgot to bring it. I don't even know if this order was included the last price or not but we satisfied this restaurant anyway. I recommend this restaurant!
It's the first time that Jacky and I have tried a tapas restaurant and we were both pleasantly surprised. The menu was varied with something for everyone. We only had a four dish tapas but with the bread and olives gratis for starters it was plenty. We may work our way up to a six dish eventually... just give us time. We look forward to visiting again and would recommend anyone to give La Paella a try.
Amazing food, fast service and friendly staff. Couldn't fault it in any way. Had 6 tapas between 2 people, probably enough for most people but got a paella as well. Finished it all and it was a little bit of a struggle. Glass of wine each. £35 per head
Been visiting for 20 years to this family run business and as vegetarians there is loads for us to eat, it's always served up hot and fresh. Very busy on Saturdays and much quieter during the week when sometimes the service is too quick. This is ok if you want to eat and run!
Lovely food very lively and busy Turning people away in Saturday night so make sure to book. Service very good prompt and hardly any waiting time spot on ! Even in a full restaurant. Not ideal for a quiet romantic meal.maybe better to have a week night for that.would definitely go back.
