About La Paella Tapas Bar
La Paella Tapas bar is a family run business established in 1995 by Miguel, Danka And Miguel Junior. With wooden beams and images of Spain mixed in with a modern feel, our aim is to create an atmosphere inspired by Spain’s many traditional Tapas bars and restaurants. Today, as ever, La Paella is a great place to enjoy an informal meal amongst friends with a simple yet delicious selection of Tapas dishes. At La Paella we serve only the finest ingredients supplied by our well-sourced Spanish suppliers. Our Tapas dishes are all served in traditional ceramic dishes and are freshly prepared by our head chef Angel Torres. Super delicious dishes, yummy red wine, great service!!!! Highly recommend place to go and enjoy a lovely evening that feels authenticly Spanish. Friendly staff and charming decor
We booked for a 12.30 lunch but were almost 1/2 too early - no problem at all. Starters were excellent - Garlic mushrooms and Gambas - and the paella was just fabulous. Very friendly service and this despite a large group of schoolchildren (between 40 and 50!) who were obviously experiencing a Spanish meal. The children were very well behaved too and seemed to enjoy their food - best of all though was the appreciative sound effects when churros were served! Well done to the trio @ La Paella and another 'thumbs up' goes to the schoolchildren and their teachers who were probably on their end of term treat.
Went for Sunday lunch. We had fabulous food, the service was great and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will be returning very soon.
La Paella is my favourite Spanish restaurant in London. The tapas are varied, plenty of vegetarian options. It has a great vibe and the owner and staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful.
The service was pretty good, and they are very friendly. I didn't rate 6 because we realized after we left the restaurant that we didn't get all dishes we ordered. I am not sure if they didn't take note for this order (Calabacin Fritas) when we order at first or they forgot to bring it. I don't even know if this order was included the last price or not but we satisfied this restaurant anyway. I recommend this restaurant!
Amazing food, fast service and friendly staff. Couldn't fault it in any way. Had 6 tapas between 2 people, probably enough for most people but got a paella as well. Finished it all and it was a little bit of a struggle. Glass of wine each. £35 per head
Been visiting for 20 years to this family run business and as vegetarians there is loads for us to eat, it's always served up hot and fresh. Very busy on Saturdays and much quieter during the week when sometimes the service is too quick. This is ok if you want to eat and run!
Lovely food very lively and busy Turning people away in Saturday night so make sure to book. Service very good prompt and hardly any waiting time spot on ! Even in a full restaurant. Not ideal for a quiet romantic meal.maybe better to have a week night for that.would definitely go back.
THE best Spanish food outside of Spain!!! We had a couple of tapas dishes to start & a mixed paella as a main - generous portions, loads of flavour & a great wine recommendation! I'd go every night if I could! Simply delicious!
Gorgeous food! I have eaten here before on the recommendation from a work colleague, it didn't disappoint then and it did disappoint now!! Me and my girl friends had a lovely evening...we will be back!!
Authentic Spanish food in a restaurant where the staff and atmosphere make you feel very welcome. Highly recommended. We drove 16 miles to get there but was worth it for the real Spain feel :)
This is an excellent family run restaurant. Very welcoming and friendly. There is a good choice of tapas dishes. The food is very good and well presented. Also - very good value. Well recommended
Traditional and delicious Spanish food, wonderful atmosphere, very receptive and friendly staff. very family friendly. Will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended. Definitely order the churros & chocolate, it's a must.
Great tasting food, will tell my friends and go again. We had a mixture of tapas trying out many different dishes from fish, chicken and vegetarian tapas. Then finished with dessert!
Food and service second to none. We have always felt so welcome in this lovely little Spanish restaurant and the food is always yummy so we're already planning our next visit!
food was lovely, really traditionally spanish. Service could be improved on though. Didn't like the way we had our wine glasses topped up to the brim for us and then asked if we wanted another bottle, despite not having even sipped the glasses that we had!
Had another great evening the service was great, the staff were very friendly and the food was as good as it usually is. Would definitely recommend you try it out
Being a Tuesday the restaurant was a bit empty and unfortunately the 'Tapas Tuesday' offer for which I had an email in January had ended. Nevertheless it was and enjoyable experience at a reasonable price.
Excellent food as always, friendly service. We visit this restaurant since years and it never disappoints! We'll be back for sure. Keep up the good work! Thank you!
We had a great time. The food was really good and great value for money. We had a wonderful evening and the staff were really helpful and friendly.
Great food. We had paella, which was excellent. The churros was also very nicely. Although we were not in a hurry, the wait for the main course was a bit longer than ideal.
Excellent authentic Spanish Tapas with a very good and reasonably priced wine list too. Excellent croquettes and Pulp de Galicia. Highly Recommended, for individuals groups and parties.
Always great food, lovely atmosphere and always friendly staff. Good value for money will be visiting again very soon. Thank you la paella and all the staff
Great staff and a really Spanish atmosphere. Great variety of vegetarian options. Food came promptly. Deep fried carrot sticks with Aoli was an interesting Special. Desserts were really authentic Spanish cooking.
Had a great meal tapas and paella all very tasty. Good choice with a varied menu. Atmosphere very traditionally Spanish and staff friendly and polite.
great experience, lovely staff and atmosphere. The portions were great also as well as the quality and taste of food. will go again and again
Surprisingly this was one of the best meals I've had and I cannot believe the resursants been in my area for the past 25 years.
Really nice service and food!, we had a set of tapas and the entrecôte, all had a great taste. Highly recommended place. Thanks very much!
Great food, great service. What more could you want from a restaurant. I would recommend the lamb skewers and also the octopus. All freshly made.
Great place to eat. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent value for money. Will definitely be going back there as often as I can.
Nice atmosphere. Portions slightly on the small side and a bit pricey. Had better Paella to. Ordered the one with chicken and chorizo and there was literally about 3 slices of chorizo in it.
Staff welcoming and friendly. Tapas was delicious. Will visit again soon. Finding parking near the restaurant was a problem. Circled a few times and finally found somewhere
Nice tapas restaurant, the staff were friendly, the tapas are delicious and the price is reasonable. we really enjoyed it very much. Definitely will come again.
Had a lovely fish/chicken paella. great sangria, which was lovely and cold. Could of had more but didn't want to sing all the way home.
Nice food tapas was lovely. Good variety to choose from and a nice cosy atmosphere. Children liked the food and it wasn't over seasoned. Pudding was great.
Some prices were reasonable on items on the menu, but some items were too dear. The food itself generally was quite basic, portions on some items were disappointing - Calamari. The chairs were very uncomfortable.
Over all it was very good experience, the food was good. It had an authentic menu, a traditional tapas restaurant, however relatively expensive for the location.
it was a lovely place to eat , staff was really friendly , good authentic spanish tapas. Definetly would return
Good service... Lukewarm food. Sticky floors and table. The courgettes in honey batter were nasty. Not sure I would come back. The tortilla was quite nice cos it was fresh.
Valentines menu £24.95 for 3 dishes overpriced wish we had chosen from the main menu . £111.00 with a bottle of wine and 2 beers
