Busy but excellent restaurant - great atmosphere, fantastic service and really good food. Will certainly go back and highly recommend... five well deserved stars from us

What a lovely time. Italian food with Italian atmosphere. We regularly revisit and are never disappointed. The set menu varies, is always interesting and very good value.

Very warm welcome. Excellent service with a great range of food on the menu. Attentive at all times and thankyou for finding the cointreau for our affogato’s. Exceptional value for money.

Have been a regular customer here and in past always had great experience. Tonight was extremely disappointing. Service poor, extremely rushed. My husband was asked twice if they could clear his plate when he was still eating! Pasta so undercooked it snapped and a completely wrong meal given! To top it all owner became angry when we complained. Would think twice about going back.

Had a wonderful time with my friends, it was not expensive which is perfect as we are all students. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Good quality, well cooked and served food. Probably the best Italian meal I have had in the UK. Highly recommended - should probably book if going at a busy time.

Good choice of food on the menu. Just had main course which was tasty. Friendly and swift service. Reservation worked well and extra guest accommodated without any problem.

A warm welcome was received. The food quality of a well above average standard. My reason for not scoring a 6 was for the fact the tables of two are very close together. So much so we engaged in conversation with the table next to us.

The food and service were excellent. We went for the set menu and were really pleased with it. Good quality food at a good price.

Good but not up to its usual high quality of food. Had to move tables to accommodate a larger group. Staff very attentive as always.

Still one of the best restaurants in Petersfield - great food, good win list, and fantastic service - but you will need to book most nights of the week.

As always the food is great and the staff are friendly. Turnaround the food pretty quickly as well. Always enjoy eating there. Look forward to the next meal.

We enjoyed this family run restaurant very much. Unpretentious, well priced and good Italian food, A pleasant, warm atmosphere. Will certainly return and perhaps make it a regular haunt.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable meal in la Piazetta in Petersfield. The Linguine was particularly good. This was a good visit and one that I will repeat

I think the owners were away. They need to learn to take and hang up a lady's coat on entry. Good, well lit table for 4 offered to us 2. Dirtied napkin not replaced. Lovely food, as usual!

We received a very nice welcome on a chilly evening. The staff were obliging and courteous. Nothing too much trouble and the good food was served promptly. The only niggle was where we were sitting - we had a draft from the front door when other guests entered the restaurant.

We've been to La Piazzetta a fair number of times over the years and it's always been good but this was the best meal we've ever had there!

Some great cooking - The mushroom risotto is to die for - one of the best risottos I have ever eaten. Staff can sometimes be a little brusque.

Lovely food, great service would definitely recommend this place to eat. Can't wait to go again. I would definitely recommend the portobello mushroom with goats cheese to start

Good food, reasonably priced. We had the set christmas menu. Cheesecake just ok but everything else was tasty. My only gripe is the waitress. She was very friendly and helpful but definitely needs some training. She was passing plates across and over the table.

Really lovely food, and particularly amazing garlic bread according to my hungry teenager! The service was very friendly, and the whole experience was like being back in Italy!

Best restaurant in Petersfield. Great service, lovely authentic Italian food. Pizzas for the Children, Veal, pasta for the adults. You have to book, but definitely worth it. Why go to Pizza express ?

Versatile restaurant great for groups or couples. Service is fab and home cooked food even better. We have been many times over the years and have never been disappointed apart from when they have been fully booked and we couldn't get a table. Thoroughly recommend, however I would suggest to book ahead
