Designed like you’re spending time in a Tuscan villa, La Tagliata gives you the Italian fine dining experience in a way you’ve probably never enjoyed it – at least not in London. True, La Tagliata is named after a dish, but have a look at their menu and you’ll discover so much more, namely a wonderful selection of freshly prepared food, sun-soaked culinary specialties, fine wines, and a friendly staff. This is as special as it possibly gets.
Let’s hear it for the interior architect: La Tagliata makes fine Italian dining a feast for all the senses. Thanks to the wonderful culinary creations as well as the very special interiors, you’re in for a treat for your taste buds and for your eyes. At La Tagliata on Sandy’s Row the layout of the restaurant offers multiple choices for private dining. You may choose from the library, cellar, pantry, study, drawing room, dining room or music room. Each room seats up to ten people. Intrigued? Trust us: it’s great.
Apart from the great venue, you choose from freshly prepared homemade pasta, freshly prepared of course every single day of the week. There’s a choice of three different seasonal sauces which should have you come back at lease twice. After, there’s the main course (sliced steak served on a bed of rocket with parmesan) that is also available in a vegetarian option. Head chef Antonio Tonelli makes sure you’re being served nothing but the best ingredients. Also try the carefully selected wines focusing on small producers throughout Italy. Nope, there just isn’t another restaurant just like La Tagliata on Sandy’s Row
Very quaint restaurant with excellent food. Service was good although a little slow. Overall great experience and would recommend. Interesting location down an alley which added to the experience.
The staff were very pleasant and the food was excellent. We had an interesting conversation about the number of Italian grape varieties, over 1,000 at last count.
Great location for the city. Very friendly and efficient service. Excellent food and good wine. Nice ambience, comfortable without being too fussy. Would highly recommend.
Delicious as usual! Very good wine, pastas are incredible and very good starters. I definitely recommend this restaurant and I will come back very soon.
This was an excellent meal - delicious authentic Italian food and very friendly, helpful staff. There is a good wine list with a great variety of Italian wines. I liked the decor and the seats were comfortable. I would certainly come here again.
This could become a favourite restaurant. The atmosphere, the service and the food are top notch. The servers were considerate and fun but never intrusive. Value for money in every sense of the word.
My 2 friends and I had an enjoyable meal, the service was good if a little hurried at first to order. The cheese course was a little mean but good in flavor all washed down with an excellent Chianti.
This was the first time I was here for lunch. The food was excellent as was the service. This is a real find in the City.
Always excellent service and the food is simple but very tasty. A good selection of wines too. We are frequent diners here and have never been disappointed.
Great simple food. Beautiful and cosy. V Gnocchi and burrata was really good. Could not find our Quandoo booking but had a spare table for 1.5hours.
