Lanterns

We came in on a Saturday night, and the staff were very friendly and there was always someone available to help. Food was great, no typical Chinese food it was very fresh and tasted amazing!

We had a very enjoyable meal .service was very efficient the food was well cooked and was nice and hot all in all a lovely meal

We eat at Lanterns on a regular basis and to be honest we have never had a bad meal. The staff are attentive and very polite, the food is always 10 out of 10 and in all it is a very nice place to eat.

Lovely atmosphere. ..staff were so friendly and attentive food was excellent ...great location in town to enjoy a few drinks after car park situated across the road ..will definitely go back .

I probably wouldn't go there again. Although the duck pancakes and satay chicken were nice. Considering how much it was, the rice was quite dry and my friend had to send back the vegetarian food twice..

Great food and good value. Service too was very good until the end of the meal (which often happens) when staff seem too busy clearing up and resetting tables to look after needs of customers still there. Was over-charged for drinks - but hope that was purely accidental.

Food was very nice and the service was excellent . Only Chinese open on a Monday but worth it. Will be going again. Buffet is good value for money and food was perfectly proportioned.

Excellent food, fast service, comfortable surroundings and polite, friendly helpful staff, would thoroughly recommend for an enjoyable and reason priced meal out with family, friends or a loved one. Will be coming back on many more ocassions

Been here many times before, staff are amazing, service is quick and friendly and the food is outstanding! My number one choice for Chinese food in ipswich every time.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and was served in a timely manor. Would definatley recommend Lanterns to friends and family. We will be going back again at somepoint.

Great service as always !! They serve delicious food which make me go there again and again . I have also recommended this restaurant to all my friends .

Had a really lovely evening. The food was amazing and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't give 6 stars was because it was very busy and the girls were rushed off their feet. We waited a long time for our drinks and food and then waited some more for the bill. Overall it was a lovely evening.

Second visit and it didn't disappoint. Nice ambiance & lovely food. Polite, knowledgeable and smiling staff. Didn't give the highest rating as we needed to wait for dirty plates from mains to be taken away for longer that I would have liked, apart from this, all good. Will be visiting again.

As always the food was fantastic and the staff were very attentive and helpful. We would recommend them anytime always fresh food and plenty of it.

Plenty of choice on both menus, happy staff , I particularly liked the fact that we were not rushed , some places just want to get you fed as fast as possible, pay the bill & get you out as quick as they can ,

My only slight criticism of Lanterns was although the staff were efficient throughout, they could have been a little more welcoming and friendly which would have enhanced our evening. The food was excellent and most enjoyable. Will return.

It was a very enjoyable night. Good food and didn't have to wait too long for it to be prepared. I would definitely recommend it.

Possibly the best Chinese we have ever had! Staff were lovely, Anna even went out and got some squirty cream for us. Bless her. Really good food great experience would recommend. Will definitely go back.

Very good food , staffs our very lovely and accomodating, service is quick! everything you need when you eating out really, so cant ask for more! Will be back again next time!
