Rustic has become a rusty old word in the language of the London restaurant scene. That’s why we welcome wholeheartedly wholesome attempts to sharpen focus on what rustic cuisine actually means, along with the knives. Lazy Hunter is doing just that down Kentish Town Road, offering ruddy good food and drink heavy on wild-caught and natural ingredients. The dark forest hog’s burger sports roast wild boar and streaky bacon, the Big Woods bangers are apple and cider pork sausages served with sweet potatoes and butternut squash… if this hasn’t got you drooling yet, Lazy Hunter lays on one of Kentish Town’s best brunches. Great place in my opinion, staff friendly and food was nice. Just a shame that people either don't know about it or choose not to go, but apart from another couple there, it was an empty restaurant.
Great food, good prices. Great atmosphere. Staff are very friendly staff. There's an great selection of options to go for and I would definitely be keen to go back and try others. Never been disappointed. Highly recommended.
We sat outside and we had a wonderful time. The staff was really friendly, the decoration is beautiful and the food was excellent. The portions could be a little bigger though... Apart from that, top quality experience.
