Le Mistral - Sherwood

Great food and lovely little bistro style restaurant. Quality of food and the atmostsphere sets it apart from the many "generic" kitchens. A great menu delivered with French flair without being pretentious. Big thumbs up all round.

Lovely food always get really good steaks at Le Mistral . Good service. Friendly staff. Family friendly - there was no kids menu available so small portions from main menu were offered

We had a booking for eight people and the very helpful waitress re-arranged our seating to suit us better. This was our second visit and once again the food was excellent and the staff were most accommodating to changing a dessert to our preference. We will definitely book a table again.

Service was warm and friendly, our 5year old son was made to feel special, and even at a lunchtime the atmosphere was lovely, food was delicious and well priced, we will be going again!

Food was really tasty, service was great and waitress she was amazing. So nothing to compalin about, might be only our table was little bit unsteady. It slightly moved from one side to another side when pressed down on ends. But that's only one thing I would mention, everything else was spot on.

Superb food! Lovely service! Great value! Not that much space between tables but I guess that's because its a popular place! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Lovely venue and brilliant food. Can't fault the starter (camembert) and the main beef bourginion was delicious. Brilliant deal..2 dine for £26 Sunday night Inc 2 mains and carafe of wine

The service and food were very average, nice to drop in for an afternoon coffee but the evening standard not very good overall 5/10. The Le Mistrel in town is much better

My wife and I had an excellent and very enjoyable evenining at Le Mistral, Sherwood. The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm and friendly, and the staff efficient and attentive.

Fabulous Tuesday night's Belgian mussels! We all chose a different sauce and were very pleased with each. A truly authentic little restaurant where the reputation lived up to its name. Will definitely come again!

Great food and environment. Lots of choices on the menu. I chose a beef Sunday lunch and it was delicious, one of the best I've had in a while! Would definitely visit again!

Been to this restaurant before, and usually on special occassions. Why? because it IS special. The ambience and service alone does them credit, but the star id the food. Good wine list too. Been to France, and it is probably better than the restaurants and bistros we have visited, Even in Paris.Oh, and just one more thing, healthy portions!

First time to Le Mistral but I will definitely be back.. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced just a pity I was driving and didn't get to sample the wine as well..

Excellent attentive service and great specials board. Good atmosphere and quite busy for a Friday lunchtime. A good test of a restaurant is how they do an omelette and they passed with flying colours.
