Life Glasgow is situated in the beating heart of the city centre on Sauchiehall Street, and is a restaurant and late-night bar that’s well-worth a visit. The motto here is we eat, we drink, we dance and that’s exactly what you’ll do when you head to this Glasgow hotspot. The kitchen is run by Patty Cake, so you can expect to find gourmet American burgers loaded up with all the trimmings, as well as sides, sharing platters and some pretty delicious desserts. When it comes to cocktails, well you’ll be in the right place if you’re at Life Glasgow. You’ll find classic and signature tipples made by expert mixologists – we love the Candlyfloss Martini made with Citron vodka, Chambord, cranberry juice, apple juice and candy floss. With live music on Friday and Saturday, this is the perfect place to eat, drink and dance all night long. Located in the city centre, close to the Charing Cross subway station, reservations are recommended.

So, what can you expect from Life Glasgow? Well, to put things plainly, a whole lot of fun. This is the kind of spot you head to with all your best pals to revel in the delicious American-style food, drinks and funky tunes coming from the DJs and live bands. In terms of drinks, you’ll find beer, wine and spirits, but the real specialty here lies in the cocktail menu. As we said, the Candyfloss Martini is a must-try, as is the Soor Plums made with plum gin, lemon, vanilla and egg whites; You Go Glen Coco mixed with Liquor 43, banana liqueur, chocolate milk and topped with Coco Pops and the Settle Petal of Violet gin, elderflower, apple and prosecco. Now, as for the food at Life Glasgow, let’s just say you’d better arrive hungry. Whipped up by the crews behind Steak Cattle and Roll and Patty Cake, you’ll find everything from American diner-style burgers, to steaks, hot dogs and plenty more besides. We love the Miami chicken burger marinated in a honey-mustard glaze and topped with chunky mustard salsa; the grilled sirloin steak served with garlic butter and the classic vegan burger served with all the trimmings – but in reality, it’s all delicious. Located on Sauchiehall Street in the Glasgow city centre, Life Glasgow is a must-visit!
