Seriously Italian, seriously delicious – Locanda Canton is a standout in London’s competitive foodie scene. Serving up authentic dishes, from pizzas and pastas to hearty mains and fresh salads, Locanda Canton is proud to be one of Camden Town’s most respected Italian restaurants. Whether you’re there to impress a date or you’re out for a casual family meal, Locanda Canton offers an unforgettable Italian dining experience.
Locanda Canton invites you to taste homemade, locally-minded Italian cuisine. Made using seasonal and regional ingredients whenever possible, the cuisine at Locanda Canton stays classic by staying far away from artificial colours, flavours or additives. A magnet for foodies from all over London, Locanda Canton is already a huge hit in Camden Town, and is open every day of the week for when you’re looking for bold, satisfying Italian cuisine.
Only moments from Camden Town and Mornington Crescent stations, Locanda Canton does Italian cuisine right. With a menu so chock-full of traditional dishes, you’ll find something new to try each time you visit. We recommend taking a starter like the polenta e sopressa (polenta with Italian veneto salami), or the arancini di riso (fried stuffed rice balls with vegetable) before taking one of the special pasta dishes like tortellini al radicchio, cannelloni alla florentina or the lasagne di carne. The meat and fish dishes are also great – try the tagliata when you’re craving a good, hearty steak. For a true Italian dining experience, London’s Locanda Canton is where you want to go – book ahead to snag a table!
Our evening at this restaurant was transporting ourselves back to Italy. It was a family run restaurant with the husband as the chef and the wife serving. The food, wind and service was fantastic and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food. Cannot wait to go again.
Amazing food, amazing service. Make a booking because the restaurant is small. Very cute and very romantic atmosphere. It's already one of our favourite places in camden.
Lovely little restaurant, small but not cramped. Very friendly service and good food. Had a good menu of pasta and meat/fish (this is not a pizza place) P.S. Try the limoncello
Amazing food and great service. Had the pasta with lobster and it was fantastic. Absolutley want to go back there again, and will do next week.
We enjoyed our meal at Locanda Canton. It has established itself as a go to local Italian which offers a range of dishes beyond the usual chains. Prices have creeped up a little and the wine list climbs quickly and our meal for 2 of 3 courses, wine and coffee came to £100. Service is optional and we were very happy to add 10%. If you find yourself in Camden or live locally do go.
This is a really lovely Italian restaurant, smart decor with cute furnishings, plenty to look at, even the records on the ceiling. The staff are very courteous and friendly. A very intimate homely feel. The food is really very good. Great portion sizes, served piping hot, absolutely delicious, full of flavour and very hard to find good food in this area/north London. Wine recommendation was spot on and reasonably priced. Definitely would like to come here again.
Excellent service and great food. A lovely surprise. Don't be put off by the location (on a corner), as once you are inside it fades into the background. I went with 2 Italian friends who enjoyed it and said the food was good. Also there were 4 other Italians there on another table, so has to be a good sign. I'd definitely return.
We had a nice meal and the service was really good. Was good value for what it is and would go again! Only had one course sides and no alcohol and for two is was about 30 pounds each with bread and olives.
Authentic Italian restaurant. Delicious food and amazing service. Extensive menu. Good wine list. Will definitely go back and I would definitely recommend it! There are not many real gems in London and this one is.
We were looking for a traditional Italian restaurant with simple but delicious food, a good ambience, not too noisy so we could talk, and not a chain. This was perfect.
