Busier than usual so will try going a little later. We both enjoyed the food and although busy, we did not have to wait too long, The meals were tasty and hot.

We have been to locanta a few times over the years and they never disappoint us. We always feel very welcome and the food is always amazing.

Someone recommended the chilli chicken and this looked interesting on the menu. I wasn’t disappointed, it had just the amount of heat suited for me and came with a generous amount of rice

Healthy tasty food, chicken, rice with side order of chips. Staff was attentive and we all enjoyed the food. Didn’t wait too long despite arriving at lunchtime

Had seat by window. Good atmosphere, pleasant staff I come here quite often as live locally

Chose the lasagne and the tiramisu. Good choices Didn’t order any drinks except for tap water. Service v good

Visited after work and fairly busy but staff were polite and enjoyed the steak

I can't falt the food or service at locanta both we're great they were very busy the night we visited with 2 large parties of people at same time so we did have to wait a while but was worth it best tasting steak 😀 we will re visit

We arrived very early due to not knowing where the restaurant was and the torrential rain. We were looked after from start to finish even when even we were doubting the other half of our party may never arrive. The hospitality, food and atmosphere were all superb.

Service and food Fabulous as always. Staff happy to help with my GF diet plenty of choice.

We ordered few beverages,an item from mains and a few from sides and a dessert and everything was a good.

Our table was booked for 8pm, the restaurant was very busy due to it being valentine's day to the point people who had made reservations were being turned away! We eventually got our starters at 9-45pm having asked the waiter numerous times how long it would be, our mains came at 10-15pm and unfortunately we were very unimpressed with them hence we will not be going back anytime soon

Very attentive staff and a gentleman came over and told us of the specials and the different ways that they could cook them for us.

We went early on the Saturday evening so it wasn’t busy.. to be fair we were the first to arrive but we could not fault the service or the food. Also good value.

A great place to eat, fantastic food, lovely atmosphere, and great staff. Intimate surroundings and much better than some local alternatives. We loved it.

The staff were friendly and the food was lovely, especially the tapas dishes & sharing plate. It was quite a wait for food but luckily we weren't in a rush. It was very quiet for a Saturday night, we were the only table in the restaurant from 6.30pm until around 8pm so luckily they were playing traditional music which gave the restaurant some atmosphere.

We had a great night. The service was quick and friendly. The food was hot and very tasty - no issues. House red wine was very drinkable. Worth a visit for a casual fun night out.

Pleasant environment, excellent and very friendly service and very-very delicious food at a reasonable price. What else could we expect? We would surely visit again.

Came here as a family with two kids on the recommendation of some friends and wasn't left disappointed. Was easy to park on the streets nearby. The restaurant wasn't that busy and so we didn't feel rushed. The food-pizzas, pasta and vegetarian options was great. Good selection of wines and spirits, San Miguel on draft. Would also highly recommend the restaurant and will be back the next time I come to Birmingham.

The only thing that is going for this restaurant is the location. We had high expectations having checked out the menu online but service was slow and the bill was incorrect, inside the music was too loud and the food disappointed for choice and taste.

We booked a table at 7pm sunday 24 June. Got where at 7pm and the place was closed. Very disappointed. Would appreciate a message or call that they had to close early of some reason

This restaurant has a lovely Italian feel to it, the food was great and freshly cooked and the service was good, it was nice to go to a restaurant that is obviously not part of a large chain.

Fantastic really enjoyed our meal 😊menu had so much choice staff were polite and friendly will definitely be going back 😉 we certainly didn't go home hungry as good size meals .atmosphere lovely and relaxing .

Absolutely charming restaurant. Fab interior, attentive staff and good food. Very reasonably priced. Very close to the Jam House jazz club so would recommend eating here then crossing the road to hear some fab music. Win win!

Went with the wife for our anniversary. Lovely romantic restaurant, and fantastic food! Would highly recommend to couples and groups for a good evening out.

The food was delicious and the service was attentive. I would definitely go back to try more of the menu. I always walk past this in the JQ and having been can't understand why it is not busier. Give it a go!

Great food and very personal service. Well looked after by the staff. Excellent seafood. Will most certainly go back and it didn't break the bank.
