More about Luanda Grill, London

Established in 1991, Brixton Hill’s own homage to Portuguese cooking has firmly imprinted itself on the area’s collective psyche. Serving flame-grilled Portuguese steaks and meats, as well as a selection of house specials with a focus on seafood, and great vegetarian options to boot, there is a taste of Portugal suitable for everyone at Luanda Grill. Blending the best of Portuguese food with influences from Brazil.

From its roots as a family-run business, Luanda Grill is currently run by Julio, who took over with a mandate to improve Luanda Grill. Under Julio stewardship, the Brixton Hill eatery has expanded into The Gallery next door to include a bar, a game room and a garden. You can be in no doubt that the Luanda Grill is a Portuguese restaurant. The walls, ceilings, every surface in fact, is decked out with knick-knacks from Portugal in this relaxed dining room. Come and join the team for Portuguese grills, daily changing specials and a relaxed, family-friendly environment in which to sip wine and sample food from afar.
