Exceptional food, staff where really friendly. The restaurant is in a great location if you want to extend your night out.

Side dishes were brought out once mains had been finished and cutlery had been cleared away. One waiter was rude when bringing out the late side dish, though rest of waitresses were fantastic. Substantial wait for drinks. One of the main dishes was a seafood dish, which tasted odd and I’m now nursing a severely ill girlfriend.

Amazing food and lovely staff. May just ask if we can enjoy our first drink in the bar first next time rather than being rushed through on a quiet night. Also not get the same table squashed against a wall for two every visit. But we can request that I’m sure- there is so much lovely seating available. Still one of my favourites and will visit many times again.

Not great. Been here for lunch before and it was great but on a busy Saturday evening they seemed to struggle to keep up with the pace. Ordered a garlic bread to start which came burnt black on the bottom so sent it back for another one. Ordered pizza for main course and was waiting almost an hour. It looked like they had some big tables in so understand they were busy but no one came to say sorry and explain the situation was just left waiting. Food was nice but not worth the wait so unfortunately not a good visit this time.

Great food and drink, just a shame that the restaurant is chilly. We've noticed this before so not a one off. This won't put us off returning though.

Food was great really tasty. Restaurant was freezing sat there in coat as was too cold to take it off. The guy who was serving food and taking orders was flying about everywhere yet there was several chefs in the kitchen staffing levels seemed a little uneven but he was very friendly and helpful despite being so busy the service could of been better if had another member of staff.

Very nice welcome from staff who were attentive throughout the night. The decor has a rustic cosy style with lots of candles and a warm atmosphere. We had gone as a group of 4 to celebrate my birthday and on arrival the waiter said this entitled me to either a free cocktail or dessert which was a nice touch. However on checking the bill at home I noticed we had been charged for the cocktail, (not the end of the world.) I was also looking forward to trying the bone in sirloin which unfortunately was not available that evening. It would have been good to have been told of anything unavailable when presented with the menu. Instead I had the ribeye steak and I must say it was superb, cooked to perfection and delicious flavour. Another friend had the beef stroganoff which he enjoyed, however both ladies were a little disappointed one had risotto which was okay but my wife found the lasagne very dry and topped with far too much chewy mozzarella. The wine menu was varied we chose a Spanish tempranillo which was very smooth and delicious so we had a second one. The prices are a little higher than other nearby restaurants but if it's a steak your after I think it's a case of you get what you pay for and I would recommend.

Gorgeous, well made food, polite staff and good service. Beautiful and comfortable surroundings, lovely and warm. We will definitely be going to return and soon.

The service was poor very slow waited over 30 mins just for a drinks menu the food was good but let thereselfs down with slow service

I would like to say that myself and the other half went to Lucca’s on a Saturday and, as such, I can appreciate that they were quite busy. Nonetheless, after we were sat down, it took about about 40 minutes for anyone to come to our table to take any kind of order and that was only after we had caught their attention. The starters took a long while in getting to us and they were only lukewarm. However, we did order the halloumi and mozzarella sticks, so it is tricky getting them at optimal temperature when it was such a busy night. Admittedly, the taste of both starters were top notch. Thankfully, the wait for the main wasn’t too long after the starter and, I have to say, the chateaubriand was lovely. All in all, the food was lovely but we won’t be going again as, unfortunately, the service doesn’t counterbalance the food. Commendations to the chef though.

Busy restaurant. Would be good if u had an allocated waitet serving a set amount of tables. Area was chaotic at times with staff milling around. Food good.

Good food as always. Nice atmosphere. Longer wait than usual for drinks once at the table even though the bar was empty but that didn’t spoil the evening.

The restaurant area was cold. Diners kept their coats on. Prices on the menu did not exactly match prices on the bill, some higher and some lower. The total however was near to what we expected so we just paid it. Will watch for this in the future though.

Service was good starter was lovely husbands main (steak) was lovely unfortunately my main (chicken) was not very nice the chicken was dry therefore I did not eat it, I was offered more sauce but this would not have helped I was offered an alternative but refused as I had already been put of. Such a shame as we where out for our anniversary and was looking so forward to eating here. Having said that I would probably visit again.

The food was delicious but it was a bit off putting to hear the staff shouting and swearing at each other at one point we heard “for f**ks sake. Not nice, particularly as there were children in the restaurant too !

Great food and service. Really friendly experience. Cocktails are brilliant i would definitely recommend them! Me and my wife went for her birthday and had the fillet steaks which were cooked to perfection. Will definitely be going back

Although the food tasted great, the service was not good. It took forever to clear plates and they tried to overcharge us and when we queried it they were really rude. The cocktails were not nice either. Shame as this place used to be really good.

Slow service, waited too long to be even shown to our table, had to chase for drinks and struggled to get waiters' attention throughout the meal. Not enough staff on for a Saturday night service and too slow for food to be served. Shame as the food was lovely when it eventually arrived.

Knowing how good the steaks are, we were thoroughly disappointed to be told they had sold out of their best steak. It was very busy on the night, but it took 30 minutes to receive our drinks, an hour until we received our starters, and 2 hours to for our mains. We Sat right beside the kitchen, and all night we were shouting over the frantic crashing in the kitchen.... Hardly enjoyable! The staff are friendly, but to not even be asked how are meal was, or if we needed anything else all night is so frustrating and disappointing, especially as the meal was over £200 for four of us!

This is a great restaurant in a superb location serving excellent food.

Food was excellent but service was slow to begin with when taking food and drink orders, to the opposite and taking plates away while your still eating the starter.

Really enjoyed our evening. Worth the travel, Amazing food! Defiantly be coming back. Good atmosphere. Modern feel. All enjoyed their meal from different age ranges.

Quick and friendly service with lovely food as always. Have been going here for a while now but never for lunch and it didn’t disappoint

Really great good and nice and relaxed. Went with children and their portions were generous! Atmosphere made for a lovely Sunday afternoon! Will go again.
