Lucca Bar & Kitchen

We thought ‘under new management’ might mean an improvement on service. Disappointingly not. Wrong drinks delivered and then we were blamed for not being able to download their new menu off their new website for ordering food no longer available. How about Lucca deleting or closing their old one to avoid confusion? Or at least tell you there are 2 active sites and one of them isn’t right???! After being further insulted, we decided it best to leave. Spend our time and money elsewhere. We had a much better experience at the Thai House up the road. Thank you Thai House. Food and service excellent! Cherrio Lucca!

Entertainment was wonderful food was amazing only fault was being sat at the pass we had to smell the amazingly great food while we waited for ours to be cooked but helped me decide on the garlic bread to start service was great think all staff served us at some point and was all on the ball nothing was too much

Very disappointed. Forgot our drinks orders, within 2 hours only had our starter and had to ask twice where they were, our mains took forever and were wrong when they came and kept having to put hand up for service or go to the bar we usually have a lovely experience and enjoy the food when we go was gutted as it was our mums birthday. Was so late when we left.

Had a really nice time, enjoyed the food. Valentines menu was great!

This is the second time in a few weeks we have been here, this time for my daughter in laws birthday, once again it was just perfect, the food was great, we all had steak, the drinks were good especially the cocktails, so I'm sure we will be visiting again shortly

My wife and I were going for our meal when a lady said to us enjoy your meal, she turned out to be the owner and was a lovely person, the meal itself was fantastic, staff were the same, I can't praise them enough We will definitely be going back

Really good food in a nice setting with lots of choice - from meat and fish mains to pizzas and pastas. Generous portions and they packed up our leftovers to take home. Only criticism was the noise, the music (both live and the stereo) were far too loud and song choices weren’t appropriate for a restaurant setting.

Haven't been for a while since before it changed management but I was very impressed. Staff were friendly and polite and the food and cocktails were delicious. Will visit again.

Friendly staff. Lovely food. Music a little loud in the bar area making conversation at our table a little difficult sometimes but overall a lovely evening.

First disappointment the was being seated on benches, food order delivered but one meal missed. Pizzas very poor, very thick and doughy, unable to finish. Drinks expensive. Used this restaurant many times in the past but since the revamp will not bother to go again.

Service was very poor tonight. One young lady was very friendly but considering there weren't many people in I was surprised to be billed fir another party's drinks. Very disappointed as we've booked a special birthday lunch for August and am now wondering whether it will be a disaster if the service is as bad. We've been previously and no problems but not rating them very well tonight I'm sorry to say.

Seemed understaffed , service poor not asked regarding sweets or coffee, food tasted ok but pasta seemed cold

We had a leaving do at lucca. From booking the large party to leaving we all had great service and fantastic food. We all felt welcome and didnt have to rush are food. Thank you for a great night. I will definatley be back.

food was amazing and the gentleman serving us was lovely, unfortunately the lady was miserable, looked like she didn't want to be there and taking our food order as a pain! this didn't spoil our night but frowning burns less calories than smiling ☻

the only issue is the waiting time at the bar on arrival. just the one bar staff with a large order. had to wait almost 20 mins to be served. once the other guests arrived we decided to go straight to the table to order drinks due to waiting times.

Excellent food, good service, but 2/8 meals slightly late to table. Overall good experience and will return.
