Ma Boyle's

Great food and great atmosphere. Service was speedy and relaxed. The chips are to die for. Next time, I'm trying the Gin and Tonics. They look amazing!

A really great, lively atmosphere in the pub, and the waitress was very accommodating even though we were a bit early for our dinner reservation! Food was fast and delicious (especially the home-made potato chips)! Everything was reasonably priced and I would definitely go back next time I am in the area!

We all enjoyed it very much. Staff friendly and extremely helpful. If I was in Liverpool again, I would definitely use them again . Easy booking too.

Had a great night at Ma Boyle's, it was jazz night and very enjoyable. Food was really nice and the staff were fantastic, very friendly and attentive. First time on the jazz night but certainly not the last.

Nice location and atmosphere, but it was far too busy to eat really. The food took a while to be served and it was nice, but you could tell it had been reheated, the meatballs were a little hard in places. I would go back though, but maybe not to eat.

Fantastic food great value for money and top notch customer service would well recommend for anyone thinking about going and location is easy to get too

Nice welcome, table had been reserved for us as requested. Varied menu with something for everyone. Lovely meals, reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning soon, what more can we say?

Excellent food, real home cooked and very tasty, also served in a wooden box which was a little different. Staff very pleasant, and nice pub feel

Had a chicken burger which was pure chicken breast. Was delicious. Friends had fish and chips but thought fish was a tad greasy. Lovely entertainment on and a good crowd in for a Thursday eve in Liverpool.

A warm welcome from friendly staff. Came for a quick lunchtime bite, and service was very swift. Food arrived hot and was tasty. Only slight downside was that at £9 for a drink and sandwich with a few (lovely) chips on the side was a little bit pricey. Overall good - would definately go again!

Food was excellent! Staff seemed to be slightly disinterested possibly owing to there not being enough of them. We weren't told how to place our order and when we tried, the waitress informed us that she had already been working for over an hour longer than she should have but would pass our order on. The bar staff member brought cutlery from another table which was inadequate for what we had ordered. This was not a disaster though and we will return as the staff were pleasant despite this (I'm sure it was just a one off having read other reviews) and the food is well worth returning for! Drink prices are also reasonable. A bit of a hidden gem!

Good food and drinks,nice atmosphere, waitress was somewhat distracted and live music, when it started up was very loud, would have been fine if we weren't having a meal.

The food was very good, the staff were friendly and the price was fair, but it was all let down by the very loud piped music. We asked for the music to be turned down and it was, but very shortly after it was turned back up to the previous high volume. This was such a shame because a very good restaurant was let down by someone insisting we listen to very loud while we ate.

We all enjoyed our food and were very happy with it. We love attending the quiz, we always have a good laugh and we are the winners of the past 2 times :)

Although we had booked they didn't seem ready for us.. there were not many sandwiches but an abundance of cakes, sadly some of which were 'off'. That said, the staff happily exchanged said cakes for further sandwiches and gave us all a complimentary glass of fizz

arrived 50 mine early but no problem, table ready and we were seated. no extra waiting for food. swapped kids beverages with swapped no issue either. friendly helpful staff, lovely place. thank you

food not up to usual standard good frienly service but food could be better lasnge very poor if you can not do it well why bother fish & chips just ok next time we will just have a drink come back biilly the barman things were much better then
