So, let’s take a look at what you can expect to find on the menu at this Battersea Italian restaurant. Broken down into three sections, let’s begin with the Fassona beef. The premium cuts are sourced from artisanal farms between Monforte d'Alba, Serralunga, Roddi and Alba, where the standard is high and the methods ethical. The team at Macellaio RC Northcote Road draw on traditional slow-cooking techniques to maximise the flavour. Oh, and did we mention they butcher and dry-age each cut in-house? Once again, the passion is rife here. Then, when it comes to seafood, Macellaio RC Northcote Road is all about tuna. They butcher and age high-quality breeds in the cellars and the results are delicious.
In terms of dishes, Macellaio RC Northcote Road showcases charcuterie boards, Italian cheeses and a truly extensive wine list. We love tucking into a charcuterie board with creamy burrata to begin, before a Fiorentina steak, grilled rabbit cooked in plenty of garlic and white wine or ravioli al tocco stuffed with beef and spinach served with slow-cooked Fassona ragu. If all this takes your fancy, book a table and head to Macellaio RC Northcote Road in Battersea for one of the best Italian experiences in London. Buon appetito!
As always great time here. Had lots of cured meats to share with stracciatella and burrata which was delicious. We chose the tartare with the Gorgonzola which I would recommend. The pasta and cooked meats were extremely good and well cooked! Thanks
So delicious and the wine was incredible! So lovely to have such a wonderful local place to eat with super tasty produce. Definitely try the apple cake for desert too!
Great experience. Food is excellent, the quality of the meat is as good as it gets. You can also judge the quality of the restaurant from the attention to detail, from the amazing oil on the table to the prestarter of focaccia and salame
