Macellaio RC - Union Street

Premium quality, but a bit overpriced for the overall dinner. Great experience, we always enjoy coming back to Macellaio RC. The location is awesome and cozy.

I would go back just for the meat. We had the the fiorentina and the crostata which were both great.The meat was very tender and delicious! The charcuterie board was also very good. The side dishes (spinach, potatoes, green salad) were rather average (much better in other steakhouses) and the tiramisu was less than average ( very sweet). Service was excellent and the decor was modern industrial. We did not really enjoy the loud music as it was difficult to discuss.

Staff were wonderful this evening . Friendly and accommodating. Thank you! Food was great too. Love ordering the Fiorentina to share amongst a small group.

Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per il nostro pranzo di Pasqua e siam stati notevolmente sorpresi. Servizio impeccabile : ogni cameriere è molto attento ad ogni ospite ed é sempre pronto a spiegarti ogni proposta del menù. La carne era tenera morbida e molto saporita. I dolci sia il classico tiramisù sia la proposta della panna cotta al basilico ci hanno stupito. Siamo stati decisamente soddisfatti. Per quanto riguarda il conto; è un pochino caro ma sono soldi decisamente ben spesi. Provatelo!

There was no fillet steak when we arrived. Ended up ordering the rabbit that had no flavour at all. The tiramisu was also below average.

Really good food, meat is amazing, tender and i was able to get it cooked rare, which is not easy to find in london! The service was really professional and friendly. I highly recommend this place

Great steaks, a must try if you’re a mest lover! Great hospitality and fantastic wine too! Try as well the pissa, bollito croquettes and tartare!

There was way too much salt on the baked potatoes and way too less salt on the meat. The waitress tried to sell too much meat for only 2 people. I asked for 800 gr of Fiorentina and he served us 900 gr. So when ordering, order alway 100/200 gr less so you have the right amount. Service was fast and kind, even though the waitress did not give us time to think and decide what to order
