More about Maramia, London

Maramia Café at Golborne Road serves, freshly prepared Palestinian and Mediterranean specialities at very reasonable prices, and that’s including dishes such as tagines and falafel, and delicious mint tea. Husband and wife team Mohammed Zomlot and Rola Darabaih are behind the business with Rola and Mohammed's mother preparing the food. With a newly arrived baby on top of a new business, they've got their hands full.

It’s not difficult to see why Maramia Café is a favourite not just with your average Notting Hill- ite, but also with the likes of television newsreader Jon Snow and none other than David Cameron and wife Samantha who have been spotted relaxing over Sunday brunch here. The Maramia menu includes an appealing selection of hot and cold mezze – all freshly prepared and carefully seasoned, Palestinian ‘sandwiches’ served in Arabic flatbreads and mouth-watering grilled meat and fish mains, cooked to family recipes.

Lovely meal at Maramia. We just had a selection of hot and cold mezze to share. Two per person was plenty. Very tasty - quite spicy! And the wine was very good value. Nice service too. Only downside was that the room was a little bit cold.

Best Mesakhan outside of Atara in the Qada of Ramallah (the area that invented the dish). Friendly service. Great atmosphere. A great meal and a great night out. London has the odd authentic dining gem like Tayyeb in Field St. This is definitely one such gem!

Absolutely heavenly food! Friendly service, generous portions and nice decor too. Best Middle Eastern food I’ve had outside of the Middle East. Can’t stop coming back!
