Lovely food and a great ambience- coming back next week

A lot of thought and work has been put into this restaurant it looks amazing inside and out can see it getting busy over the coming spring summer months with how they have designed the inside flowing to the outside very Mediterranean here’s to a nice summer !! long may it reign in Benfleet !!! We booked our table to which we were taken on our arrival. Service was prompt and efficient. The menu is a little restricted and focuses mainly on burgers and pasta dishes although there is one fish/steak/lamb dish on menu. The food arrived without undue delay and was well presented and tasty. The surroundings are smart and modern but noisy. The final bill included a 12% service charge which was not mentioned on the menu. We were told this was an optional extra which could be removed or amended. All said the restaurant is a good addition to the local area and we will be giving it a further visit soon.

The atmosphere and food was really good. The only criticism I had was the staff started to clear plates when not everyone on the table had finished eating which made us feel like we needed to hurry.

Just a few things that meant our experience was mediocre. I asked for a jug of water for the table which we never received. I asked if could have fries with my dinner instead of mash potatoes and was told they “don’t change” from the menu. I’ve never had this before. We asked for Ketchup and waited ages so long that dinner was almost finished by the time we got it. Food overall was ok. but it wasn’t a cheap evening and the service did not match the cost. My children liked it but my husband and I felt it was a bit style over substance.

The food wasn’t great. I had the chicken escalope salad that was tasteless. The waitress came over too early when asking if everything was alright so I hadn’t really had a chance to try it. I ended up asking for ketchup for the chicken to add some flavour. It was really loud in the there. They turned up the music really loud as the night went on.

Fabulous venue, staff and food. We had a great evening and we will be back. Lamb chops were delicious

The waiting staff drove us crazy, every 5 minutes a waiter/waitress was coming over asking if all was ok and do we want more drinks, do we want to order dessert? I know that you should ask these questions but this was constant and from different members of staff. You only need one waiter/waitress to a table. We just wanted to be left alone to enjoy our meal and drinks without the constant interruptions.

Wonderfully food excellent service remarkable and cocktails were lovely. Would recommend and already booked to go back.

Staff were so friendly and attentive, food was yummy and massive, cocktails good, ambience and decor good, fantastic outside seating area for us smokers, just needs some heaters, just what Benfllet needed, and goid for all ages, bet it will be difficult to get a table going forward if they kerp this up x

Table not ready but didn’t wait too long. Staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Food choice ample and everyone enjoyed what they had. Special mention to the filo parcels and burgers. Atmosphere, decor and music perfect! Left a long time after our main course and in the end no one asked about desserts and coffee. Hence great rather than excellent. Would definitely go again though.

Below average service ( we were given the wrong items, twice and one side dish we never received ). We waited an extended period of time to be offered a dessert menu, so asked for one and were told they have stopped serving and then had the audacity to charge a service charge. The steak, the most expensive item on the menu was mediocore at best. There's a restaurant just around the corner to Marley's called Aspera, it's superior to Marley's in every way - I'll be going back there and recommend readers to do the same.

The men don’t seem to know about the menu but they are amazing at helping our needs, such as after we finished our starters they kept checking with us to see if we were ready for our mains. Amazing customer service

I loved eating here. It was a surprise for my 25th birthday. I had the most amazing time. The staff were really friendly and the food was 10/10. The decor was really modern, and the restaurant was very spacious. Definitely will be coming back!

The four of us went there for dinner. It was our first visit. The food was delicious the ambiance was good and the staff were very helpful. We will certainly return.

Food was okay but very overpriced for what it was. Charging London prices for drinks and food. Also felt like I was being rushed a lot of the time. And my main came out while I was still finishing my starter. Staff are very helpful and friendly but would of felt better not to be rushed.
