May Fair Kitchen has long been a fixture in its namesake London neighbourhood of Mayfair, close to Green Park station, serving both guests to The May Fair Hotel and a constant stream of the city’s gourmets plucked from the public with sustainable seafood and meat dishes. Now that the restaurant has tightened its focus, concentrating on the healthy, bold and colourful cuisines of the Mediterranean, May Fair Kitchen’s refurbished concept and interior is set to usher in a new era for the veteran eatery. Here down Stratton Street, head chef Alessandro Stefoni’s Italian and Spanish small plates are a particular drawcard, expertly paired with fine wines and served with an unfussy flourish. Drop in for lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, or just high-end surf’n’turf small plates, whether solo or with a group of up to twenty, or take advantage of the May Fair Hotel’s 70+ capacity function rooms for a lavish private dining event.
Service could be a little show at times and one of our orders was forgotten and came a while after everything else but as it was tapas it wasn't such an issue. Great food and lovely restaurant.
Terrific food for a large group. Wait staff very friendly and knowledgeable and food is excellent. Wine selection is plentiful in all price ranges. We would return in a heartbeat.
Enjoy the food , waiting time could have been better . But overall happy with experience and would visit again in future for special occasion
