Just a great place to go and eat with friends

Wasn’t too busy for a Monday. Staff are lovely. We go a lot and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Baby was welcomed. Have live music every night and food and drink are always spot on

Always go here the food is outstanding, it is a noisy pub though, tele's loud and music on, if this isn't for your taste whilst eating, go elsewhere

Great but when I got there the door man wasn’t going to let me in saying I was to drunk & can’t walk .so judgmental in first look

Football on far too loud whilst people eating, but the 25 minute wait for a drink at table was farcical when bars empty and we were told to wait and order at table

Clarrisa looked after very well.. Felt very welcome.. Didn't have any trouble getting food and drink considering very busy weekend....

Booked a table for 3, which was confirmed for 7:00pm, only to be given a small table for 2 next to the pool tables. We ended up leaving as this was not what we had booked and had better success elsewhere. Found it disappointing that after booking a table we were not given what we had asked for.

We ore booked a table from 6pm and it was happy hour until 8pm. Staff at this place are brilliant. The young girl who served us all night on table 33 was brilliant and her service was impeccable. Only small negative was that when we checked the bill we’d been charged the normal prices not happy hour prices even though this was well before 8pm. When we questioned this the lovely member of staff returned to us to tell us that it was because the match was on. It doesn’t say anywhere that they change happy hour times when the match is on which is a disappointment.

Had a lovely afternoon watching the racing. Will definitely be back next year.

Food was great value for money. After our meal we sat outside in the large seating area only problem was there was not enough staff serving the customers sat outside need more staff at the bar.

Beer was flat, steak was tough and they forgot the Guinness

I booked this table to watch the football and we had an issue with a large group of boys standing on right in front of our table blocking the view which was really annoying. A member of staff attempted to deal with it but the boys were very rude which wasn’t great for our experience they finally moved after the constant ask from the member of staff. We really appreciated the extend the member of staff went through to ensure we had an enjoyable time

Always come here and reserve a table. Level of service from the staff was poor from the start. After asking many different staff multiple times someone came to our table to take orders. My friends and I more than likely order the spice box. When it came it was half the size of what Matthew street is. However was back to a normal size when my friend who arrived later ordered one. Staff were rude and ignored you when you asked for drinks. Overall a poor experience at McCooleys

It's been great as always. Lovely staff even when it's really busy. Great burgers and drinks at very good prices. Definitely our favourite venue to watch sports!

friendly staff always have a good time and have never had a bad experience when I’ve gone, good service, good food and a good pub atmosphere.

Food came on time however my friends food came wrong and my bread wasn’t cooked and the pasta was cold and didn’t taste nice. Fries didn’t arrive and once they did I ordered another portion for myself however cancelled after 25 mins of waiting as food was finished a long time before however multiple servers came up to me with fries asking if I wanted them no matter how many times I said no. Waitresses were friendly but food was not good and left me feeling very ill afterwards
