Me Love Sushi is the kind of sushi joint that engenders a sense of loyalty among regular patrons and fans of fresh fish Japanese delicacies, besides the fact that Me Love rewards regulars with a loyalty scheme. Me Love Sushi is a funky little place down Hale Lane in London’s Edgware, where the sushi is hand-rolled and the noodle and rice dishes are prepared by expert chefs, and for many it’s the default spot for a Japanese fix. But there’s more than just eating sushi going on here.
The restaurant was very quiet but the sushi was excellent and the waitress was very good and attentive. We love this place and have been having a monthly meet up here for years.
Great sushi and amazing value with the tastecard as always - we coming back month after month and year after year. Sometime the serice can be a bit sketchy but this place is all about the sushi.
Me Love Sushi’s remit is pretty basic – to serve up fresh, beautiful-minimal Japanese cuisine at good prices, to diners propped up comfortably in an equally fresh and clean-lined restaurant. The name of this sushi restaurant has become something of a catchphrase for Edgware residents looking for a good bento or bowl of udon noodles. These days, with a loyalty programme for regular patrons, and a presence down Hale Lane for some years now, plus a sister outlet to spread the crowds, Me Love Sushi is a bit of a fixture on the map when it comes to sushi in London. Of course, while Me Love Sushi has built its reputation on handsome, freshly hand-rolled sushi of all types and calibres – nigiri, hosomaki, futomaki, uramaki, temaki – connoisseurs know to turn to this Edgware sushi restaurant’s exclusives, for a true taste of Japanese cuisine.
For those fans of Japanese cuisine looking to spoil themselves, the skilled chefs in Me Love Sushi’s Hale Lane kitchen have created a list of delicacies such as black cod miso, tuna tartare, wasabi prawns, and seared beef slices. All are minimalist in their preparation and presentation – a haute cuisine surprise from what to many might appear to be a hole-in-the-wall sushi bar. For the true sushi troopers, Me Love Sushi has gifted London a superb opportunity to learn how to make sushi, with fun classes taught by the head chef that are ideal for birthdays, hen parties, or team building events. We love Me Love Sushi!
