If you’re looking to get acquainted with what many would call the Merchant City’s finest Italian restaurant, another option is to go for the fixed-price two-course Chef’s Big Deal menu, served Sunday to Thursday from noon, again on Friday from noon, and Saturday from noon until 5pm.

If you’re out shopping in Merchant City or seeing the sights in and around Glasgow’s city centre during the week, Mediterraneo have laid on some special tea time menus for a great value Italian meal between friends. Upping the ante even further, the ideal pre-theatre or pre-concert dinner can be had by gathering a bunch of friends together to order a number of smaller dishes from the ‘piccolino’ menu before you catch the show – the Scottish Youth Theatre, Jongleurs Comedy Club, City Halls & Old Fruitmarket and the 13th Note are all within walking distance of Mediterraneo’s Ingram Street address.
